I did the same build. except I used PC -6000 at 30CL timing which is the sweet spot. I used the Trident 64GB or ram (Yes I do more than just game) and I am using Expo 1. I will try your other tricks you enable in the bios. I love this Mobo and CPU combo, I am with you on ICUE...its trash in its current form. I went with Lian Li fans and the Ghallhad II for the AIO. I put it all in the Asus Pro Art case.(This is a sleeper case for gaming because it is better suited for content creation but it does extremely well for gaming and it's built like a TANK) You want to talk about cool and quiet....this is the case for you if you dont mind having less RGB. I wish companies would make RGB fans for 200 and 400mm fans. Anyways...I enjoyed your video. Your enthusiasm matches mine. I wish I still had the patience to do builds anymore. After 36 years of building my own rigs (Since 1988 /Intel 386 days) I decided to have Micro Center do my build for me.
That’s awesome, my friend! I’m so glad you’re enjoying your build. Lian Li was definitely on my list of fans to consider, but I ended up going with Corsair. The ASUS Pro Art case is incredible, especially the convenience of the mini wheels on the bottom. That’s the same one I’m thinking of, right? I completely agree that more companies should offer larger fans. It’s great to hear someone who shares my passion for PCs. I don’t have anything against Microcenter building your PC, though. They’re one of the best in the industry when it comes to builds! Thanks so much for watching, and I hope to see you again soon!
Temps around idle by far are 46-47 degrees idle, underload during gaming in the 70s, noise level at first was a bit loud, once updating the aio, it became quiet as it updated the smart fan profiles. Hopefully this helps, Thanks for watching!
I'm about to build my pc with yhe same mb and cpu. Using a hyte y70 touch case!!! I have the lian li gallahad lcd 360 infinity aio and 7 infinity fans, along with a strix 4080 super oc gpu and corsair dominator titanium 6000 cl 30 64gb of ram! Awesome build, thanks for sharing!!
It’s much quicker then I thought it would be initially, rough count about 30-40 seconds, once I time it, I’ll give you a accurate number ✌️ thanks for watching 🙏
@ChrisMizo thanks for answer i ask because x670e hero boot time is 40 second ..training memory in asus motherboard is badd...and i ask because want to know if x870e hero is same
Hey Cosmo, you should have a LINE OUT port next to the MIC port and optical port. Make sure to check your default audio settings are set to Speaker output device to (Realtek Audio). Hopefully this helps out, feel free to ask if you need any more assistance! Thanks so much for watching! 🙂✌️
@gogo0913 exactly, unless you are planning to do more heavier edits with adobe aftereffects or do some sort of 3d rendering, this processor will give you the power you’re looking for 👍
I tired to upgraded my cpu to the 9800x3d and I keep getting the red light in dram going to switch motherboard hopefully that get it to post coming from am4
Why to buy now a 4090 when 5090 comes in january? Hope u know that 4090 in Stalker 2 gets 54fps in 4K Epic Native? The 4000 series cant handle Unreal Engine 5.
Need to fill it with more fans, 4 sticks of ram, not 2 = more bandwidth...more memory too....to those that think 2 wont work, bullchit, as long as you stay within your XMP or EXPO profiles and not blow your speeds out of the water, 4 sticks will work purrrfectly! : ) ALSO...dude.....that card needs to be inverted, I hate the old sideways builds, that works GREAT if you're building a Pro Art !
I 100% agree! I'd recommend a fresh install of Windows for any new build, especially for performance just like the one in this video! I did mention this earlier as I installed it this way just for demonstration purposes ✌️

Nice video. A question about the aio. How are the temps idle and underload? And what about the noise?

@ thanks for your reply. Have you ever tried the new nzxt kraken 2024? If you had to chose between these two which one would you pick?
NZXT Kraken is really a great cooler, this would have to boil down in personal preference and aesthetics, but I can say kraken is silent.
Wonderful build. Are you gonna have a follow-up video with some performance testing?
I’ll definitely follow up with a comprehensive performance test. Thank you for watching! 🙏
Can't tell but what version of Windows are you using? Still trying to decide if I want 10 or 11 for my 9800x3d. Here a lot of mixed opinions.
Hey there! I'd recommend Windows 11, support for windows 10 will end Oct 2025 and performance for Windows 11 is quite well! Thanks for watching 🙏
💪💪💪💪

That’s awesome! I love Hyte cases, you are gonna love everything about your build 😎 let me know how it turns out and thank you for watching! 😊✌️
Hwlo nice video..but how is boot time in wi dows is fast or is 40 50 second
It’s much quicker then I thought it would be initially, rough count about 30-40 seconds, once I time it, I’ll give you a accurate number ✌️ thanks for watching 🙏
@ChrisMizo thanks for answer i ask because x670e hero boot time is 40 second ..training memory in asus motherboard is badd...and i ask because want to know if x870e hero is same
@ZUZucyyp it’s definitely a noticeable improvement compared to the x670e, I do agree memory training was a bit lengthy on x670e hero.
How much did this build cost all up?
Hey Altrav4! The total cost of this build was around $3500, if you have any more questions feel free to let me know and thanks for watching!
I got this board and there is no audio port, did you got any problem plugging your case audio wire plug into where it shouldn't being plugged ?
Hey Cosmo, you should have a LINE OUT port next to the MIC port and optical port. Make sure to check your default audio settings are set to Speaker output device to (Realtek Audio). Hopefully this helps out, feel free to ask if you need any more assistance! Thanks so much for watching! 🙂✌️
I'm doing a similar build waiting till next year to get a GPU
I can understand, not easy to fork over $1500 on a GPU which will be out of date in a couple months, Good luck Zack! hope to hear from you soon ✌️
does 9800x3d good enough for gaming+ recording?
Absolutely the perfect processor for doing gaming and recording 👍
@@ChrisMizo so i must use nvidia encoder for streaming and recording then 9800x3d would be enough, right? no need to choose 7950x3d or 9950x.
@gogo0913 exactly, unless you are planning to do more heavier edits with adobe aftereffects or do some sort of 3d rendering, this processor will give you the power you’re looking for 👍
@@ChrisMizo okay, i only do editing video and i use davinci resolve which use only gpu (i checked it on task bar and gpu monitor).
@ okay, thank you so much
I tired to upgraded my cpu to the 9800x3d and I keep getting the red light in dram going to switch motherboard hopefully that get it to post coming from am4
Welcome to AM5! You’ll definitely feel the upgrade 😊✌️

Same statement I made in the video brother 😆 Thanks for watching!
UE5 is meant to be played with DLSS and FG. It is proven time and time again. Native gaming will remain in the past. Forget about it.
@yosifvidelov I agree with this statement, unfortunately it seems game devs care less about optimization.
Why 2x24GB ram vs 2x 32GB 6000MHz CL.30?
To experiment with both ✌️
I wish the bios flash was added in 😭
Would make it so much easier 😄
How do i find a 9800x3d?
I have some linked in the description box, if they are gone, Refresh will be your best friend.

Hahaha love hearing the commentary and thanks for watching!
according amd advice =for new cpu you must instal fresh new windows,,,,,old windows=low fps
I 100% agree!
