Psych is my favorite show, rewatched it like 4 times, ordered the box set, can't wait to finally have my own set.
I agree with all of your points on the upgrade from the DVD box set. What a great include of the 3 movies in 1080p! I am extremely jealous of your set. Mine came torn to pieces packed in a bag from Amazon. All of my cases are damaged.
One can hope that if Psych can get a blu-ray upgrade, that The West Wing can get one too!

Have you had a chance to to compare to the stream on Peacock? The early seasons look rough so I was hoping the blu ray cleans it up a little.

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia Yes, I watched the full video before posting. You made several comments about it looking better than the DVD which would make sense. I must of missed where you mentioned that it looked better than streaming which I would assume it would anyway. I was curious how much of a difference there was between the first few seasons of the HD stream vs the blu ray.
@@BeeRadDubyaI don’t know if this is too late but I got them when they first came out. The grain is the same which is what I think makes it look worse. I couldn’t really tell a difference between streaming and Bluray

First is it true that it only has 2.0 Stereo audio for the 1st Season as per the box art or is that just for the pilot and 5.1 Surround for the rest of the season? My Australian DVD of the first season has 5.1 Dolby Digital.
Secondly, you mentioned that there was a few extra bonus features included on this bluray set that the DVD Complete series didn't have. I was wondering if that was just the movies or if there were any extra psychouts, webisodes or psych movie trailers on the set?
Thanks again for letting us know of the improved picture quality as I'm looking forward to a rewatch in HD since they took the series off Prime in Australia last year (I wonder how big of an improvement it will be compared to Streaming).
Now hopefully Universal will release both Monk and Dead Zone like this.

How was the compression you did not really say how many episodes they put on each disc . Do you think it may go on sale during Black Friday or not since MOD ?
It's about 4 episodes a disc. I think season 1 had a disc with 5 episodes on it and the last disc had 3 episodes.
🤔So because this is Blu Ray set is MOD it will most likely stay around this sale price for a very long time!
💥Also I completely covered & showed the FULL image quality of this entire Blu Ray set in detail inside this video & explained that there was NO compression issues whatsoever & this is the BEST we will ever see PSYCH look due to how it was filmed & finished!!!!

The only thing that worries me is what will happen if more Psych movies are made. I saw someone say that it was always planned that they would make 4? Or it might have been more. Either way, we didn't get the first movie released outside a complete series DVD boxset, and now we are having to get a complete series bluray set to get the 2nd and 3rd films. If they make more movies will they just reissue the complete boxset or maybe not release them at all physically?
So as I explained in this video this is the ONLY complete boxed set Universal has planned on ever releasing of PSYCH!!!!
💥So don’t wait to buy this PSYCH Blu Ray set thinking there will possibly be another set released in the future because it’s not happening!!!!👌😜
