- Today, let's talk about a few questions that I get all the time:
- What does linearity means?
- What is the difference with nonlinear simulation?
- When do you actually need nonlinear simulation?
If you have questions for me, leave them in the comments or one the blog:

In our approach to this problem from a mathematical perspective; engineers generally design systems. These systems can be electromechanical, thermal, hydraulic, and so on. We apply an input and an output to each system, and the system transforms the input into the output. For instance, we can apply a force as an input to a system and measure acceleration as the output, similarly, we can apply a force to a system and measure deformation. We represent the input-output relationships of systems with mathematical models such as differential equations, linear equations, integral equations, integro-differential equations, and so on. If the input-output relationship of a mathematically modeled system satisfies the superposition theorem, then the system is linear. For example, in Hooke's law, the applied force to the system is the input, and the deformation is the output, and within the linear range, the system behaves as y = Ax, exhibiting linear behavior. One important note here is that a system of the form y = Ax + b is not linear and does not satisfy the superposition theorem, I leave the proof of this to you. In our studies, we can analyze the input-output relationships of systems to determine whether they are linear or nonlinear.
Sir please reply me if thermal computation for electronics book course including computer science engineering CSE????Sir I am student
I went back to 20th century simulation in midas NFX 👍 thumbs-up sir
Great explination!, thank you very much
Hi Cyprien, dp you plan to do a video about fatigue calculation with code_aster?
Wow! New video! 🙂👍♥️
Sir how to convert STl file to stp file using salome?
Hello , thankyou very much for your videos. I hope you could see this comment since I really wanted to ask regarding my graduate thesis. What OSS on FEA can be used in order to solve and simulate failure or fracture of a masonry structure due to a dynamic loading. Thankyou.
Thanks
Very nice
Thanks
Excelent.
