Loving the frequent uploads lately
I've been eyeing the IQ/U which I think would have an amazing motion.
Would also be nice to see the ZenU in this comparison with how much that Marvel flares
Im loving my uc3. Averaging 220 over 12 games on typical house shot, 8 at dots with three boards of area solid to pocket. 190 bowler here with reactive. 17 mph up the back of ball
Pertaining to the content, I'd love to see more 2H stuff. I feel like there's a big hole for high level 2H content. And if Mikey is switching, it presents an opportunity to kind of show him learning things that amateurs might need too. Like, it's pretty much Packy and that's it, and Packy doesn't shoot storm so 2H ball reviews for SPI is kind of just you.
Bro go watch search Hit It Harder. This guy is an extreme one-handed cranker, hes good for 2H comparison. Also Luke Rosedahl is pretty good, his one handed game used to be similar to my 2H game. But has plenty of insight about bowling balls. Great comparisons too
@@munchyosI wouldn’t recommend hih bowling because he’s bad at actual bowling knowledge
@@elijahpipkin4081 I mean sure he might be blowing steam at times but you can still learn from his ball reaction
The BIG difference is the cores.
Marvel Core has a very low RG of 2.48 which gets it rolling very early and a medium high diff of .052.
Fast Pitch has a very high RG of 2.61 which makes it roll much later and lower diff of .030 which also helps it not bleed too much energy too soon.
Fast Pitch has more traditional 1980's specs for drier lanes and playing from the extreme outside while Marvel Urethane has more modern specs for playing a bit more inside and shaping it some.
As a sword/u owner, I can confirm sword/u is a slightly different cover. Controll on the Sword/U vs Controll XL on Fast Pitch/Marvel UNXT
I’m glad someone is finally covering overseas stuff. Been throwing Intl pieces for years (currently have a black idol Pearl and Reality Dark Night in rotation). From what I understood though, I thought SPI doesn’t like when staff members market and throw the overseas balls domestically. Could be true, could be not, but that’s what I’ve heard people say and the reason some have stopped reviewing them. Personally, I want to see them since most videos come out of Korea or Japan and I don’t speak either language 😆
I need Chris Via arm workout....
My attitude control flares almost 9 inches in the oil. More if i hit it hard at the bottom. Then they also make an s shape coming out of the crossover point.
Really neat seeing unique balls
Like Darren Tang, Chris Via's review is like a marketing pitch for Storm products. This is not the best urethane. Purple Hammer and Pitch Black are still the top 2.
how would this compare to a Zen/U , UC3 / IQ/U?
HOLY COW that is a lot of flare for a urethane ball
What is your go to 2ls layout on urethanes?
Looks great!!! Mind sharing the layout?
I would like to get the Marvel U NXT i loved the Fast Pitch ball sad i cant buy it anymore this would be a nice replacement
would you be able to throw it on tour?
Why wasn't Zen U not used a whole lote on tour?
I know why I like balls like the Pitch Black because as a two-handed bowler it gives me a good amount of control but the zen u looks interesting because it seems like a way to have that amount of control but further left. I'm not a pro though.
From what I've seen on the few sport shots I've thrown my Zen U, I can't compare it to a Pitch Black because I don't actually have one drilled yet, but it rolls like a Fast Pitch, and it'd defiantly a step down from a UC3, but I also throw the ball at about 20 mph with 450 revs, so high speed with not a whole bunch of revs for a two hander. So I could Aldo be wrong, but that's what I've seen
Wasn’t used on tour because it was made before August 2022
afaik it didn't have as controlled/smooth of a shape vs the pitch black
@Tyler Hernandez I'm kinda about the same, been working on getting my revs up but on house shot I'm fine. On sport shot I'm always fighting over-under. Thanks for the input.
@BAIRU I can't even remember the damn rules the PBA has for urethane since they are all over the place it seems.
How would it stack up next to a Zen U?
Sorry new to bowling. What would be a situation why one would throw a urethane ball? Too much oil on the lanes?
TV bowling supply
layout?
But my b... I'm not gonna sing 😭🤣🤣
Wow another urethane awesome pshhh
Nice vid! Please throw the IQ / U : )
And its burgundy! #burgundyballgood
Does the ZenU not rub pros the right way?
From what I've heard, it's not very popular... I hear it has too much movement for urethane, I've heard a few say that it pushes them too far left and by the time they are that far left reactive is a better option.
@@byoung1991 I was curious cus I haven’t seen anyone throw it in competition
I shot 300 with my jamming it up 15
Yeah, absolutely not. The purple hammer and pitch black are the best on the market.
