Ukraine's New Hope: Unveiling the K600 Breaching Vehicles

- Imagine you are walking on a vast expanse of land where each step you take determines life and death. This is somewhat the situation in Ukraine, especially in the southern region known as the "Surovikin line." The Russian Army has laid extensive minefields covering an area of approximately 97,000 square miles, surpassing the entire size of the Korean Peninsula. However, amidst these daunting circumstances, a glimmer of hope emerges with South Korea's recent decision to provide Ukraine with K600 breaching vehicles. This development naturally prompts questions: 'Will the K-600 prove effective in addressing this issue, and what unique capabilities does it bring to the table?' Stay tuned as we explore the answer to these questions!

The Ukraine war is a incredible chance for weapons manufacturers to send their platforms and get real world data. South Korea is gonna learn a ton. And Ukraine gains access to more tactical options in their defense of their country.
That should be duh but incredibly good point
Ukraine will lose all of these on day 1 like it happened before. How do you use slow moving deminers in open fields when you don't have air superiority? Russia has miles of mines, tons of drones and artillery. Korea will learn they should have sent them in back in mid 2022. Of course, these will come handy once the front moves and they could work in relative safety.
I have wondered about land mine removal in South Korea. I noticed this years ago. You can hike anywhere in the woods in South Korea. How is this possible? There are places where WW1 and WW2 land mines make the land unsafe for use. It seems the South Koreans have made a bit of a specialty of clearing land mines. Whatever they are doing is the leading edge of development. Clearing land mines is precious, hard won information. It should not be ignored.
This K600 vehicle was recently decided to be further mass-produced in early 2023. Soon, about 100 of them will be built. Since Russia is cooperating with North Korea, I think South Korea should also send these peaceful breaching vehicles to Ukraine in large numbers.
Why should they do that?
@@daydays12 Because they're a fellow democracy and share many allies. Also, russia helps NK who is constantly threatening SK. Could you really not figure that out?
South korea helping ukrain, thats why russia helping north korea to send satelite into space.
@@imtiazakand3174 South Korea already has space rockets to the moon and submarine-launched ballistic missile technology. Only the easiest technology remains: nuclear warheads. If Russia helps North Korea complete the nuclear weapon, South Korea and Japan will also build nuclear warheads. Is that a win for Russia and China? You will regret it.
We, Korea will make a new budget for Ukraine aid next year.
Unfortunately, Russian drone operators consider de-mining equipment a priority for destruction by drones.
So its basically WWII tech.
The tank mine clearer with the rotating flying chains was pretty cool.
British design of course
No, design by a Rhodesian soldier serving in the Union Defence Force of South Afrika.@@larseriksen5385
The key is not the design of the mechanism. We were lucky to start preparing for mass production of this vehicle since 2018, before the war in Ukraine started, so now are ready to support. The key is that they have completed the project to build a real factory that can deliver quickly and at scale. In peacetime, breacher vehicles are not needed in large numbers. This is probably the only mass production facility in the Global West.
Problem with the chains is that they don't go very deep. But they are faster.
How often can you replay the same video?
Great Video, based on the Mine numbers Russia laid last winter, 100s of these vehicles will be required, thanks for sharing
The least you can say it will help.
Here, take these mine clearance tanks...
But only for mostly peaceful purposes!!!
define weaponry - doesn't mean u cannot kill😃
De mining reduces casualties.
How can it compensate for counter offensive losses when it's not allowed to be used in the counter offensive?
Because it frees up other equipment being used behind the lines. Or is that too difficult to comprehend 🤔
@@johnstark4723 What equipment is that? And why do you have to reply like an asshole?
Not enough.

The problem will be that any mine clearing vehicle will be vulnerable to artillery and aircraft ordinance.
It's not proper replacement if can be used only for the rear operations...😢
While they will be very useful they can’t be put to work until the risk of ATGM is eliminated.
wether they are effectiv edepends on wether they get 2 vehicles or 200 vehicles
Overall, however, it must be said that Ukraine's allies are still too hesitant when it comes to supplying heavy weapons to Ukraine. It is imperative that this be done more quickly. Otherwise, the Russians will dig themselves back into their positions in the coming months and next year we will see the same scenario as this year. A counteroffensive that brings hardly any progress.
Hardly any progress?? My dude, Ukraine has liberated just over half in 6 months. Go look at a map from last year and compare it to now. Russia hasn't gained a single city or territory this year while Ukraine has liberated over half.
@@nicocrestmere9688they did at greater cost if you let the enemy dig in its harder to drive them out patton had the right idea rush the enemy so they dont have the time to prepare it saves lives
@wolverines5279 I'm not saying there weren't ways they could have done it better but saying Ukraine hasn't gained anything is a bold face lie and some weak propaganda

Looks good on paper. The forgot that Russians have remote mining capability ISDM Zemledeliye. There were recorded cases when a Breaching Vehicle would make a pass and right after that Russian would remotely mine everything behind the Breaching Vehicles. Breaching Vehicles had no chance to reverse and no chance to U-turn. Of cause in all cases the Breaching Vehicles were distorted by a $2,000.00 anti-tank guided missile. On the other hand when the conflict is over these Breaching Vehicles could be used in an agricultural sector.
No, South Korea is putting limits on Ukraine on how they can use the equipment.
👍👍👍👍👍
Solids pretty good , but time will tell. Thank you South Korea.

Ukraine is developing its own missile defense system by analogy with the Israeli "Iron Dome". The missile defense system of Ukraine,, Copper basin,,. Zelensky expressed the opinion that it will cover the whole of Ukraine.
Ukraine could only develop how to steal more EU money
That will be good to see.
Yay, more fireworks
They may be good for personnel mines but the question is, are they good for TANK mines?
Did you pay attention to the video 🫣 Obviously you didn't because numerous times they specifically mentioned anti tank mines 🙄
@@johnstark4723@johnstark4723 I hoped you concidered anti tank mines that are a 10x explosive blast than prsonel mines. I wish and hope you are correct. Can you explain the differense and the advantage. Personel is designed for unprotected toops. anti TANK mines are designed for heavy artillary.

what i worry about is the ukrainian mud issues. the soil is basically set up to be like tundra... water soaked part of the year to then freeze solid, but the mud can be feet deep... even tanks can get stuck. idk part of me wants to make a land ship that is more like a steam roller... compressing the mud since the entire rollers of it could be covered with track right?... so a redesign would be needed... so it can turn without the pivot point in the center of the vehicle. but it could also have the blade in front, that may be able to change its axis to use the blade or to use the teeth of the blade like tiller teeth (farming tool), and haul trailers to fill in or make trenches right? eh sorry i get too many ideas. frankly i want to build a tank that isn't a tank but a land excavator, that digs trenches and uses sensors/communication systems to send data to "other" units that can defend or attack. in the ukrainian mud the trench digger would and could be used to help unstick it right? depending on the depth you can attain with it, if it could surpass the depth of the mud enough to get traction. peace.
may i also suggest acoustic speakers to simulate the sounds of various other vehicle engines, since some mines are remote or ranged units that use sound or vibration to identify targets?
@@eugeneminton2613 Sure, but 99.9% of the anti tank mines out there are like 2 variations. One steel and one plastic.
Speciality mines excists but there is like a million of those two former for every "special" mine.

definitely and ukraine needs a lot
Two pices, just to make a news , should not bother.
Takes only one drone, well maybe two, to take it out. Don't forget Korea has asked not to use it in cbt area...
lol, go back and rewatch the video and why they don't want it used on the front lines. Has NOTHING to do with its abilities brainiac.
Western military "analysts'" main mistake is to pin their hopes at individual military equipment as a "game changer" for Ukrainian army to defeat the Russians. They're wrong. As reality shows, all the "game changer" weapons the West has sent to Ukraine have picture of them smoldering in the battlefield in multiple faiiled counterattacks. Wars are won not so much by "game-changing" weapons, but more so by quick adaptation of strategy, tactics, and logistics in fast-changing situations.
Give up already , sick of war's,only making, politician's Rich, citizens, refugees,
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Part of the problem with the minefields in Ukraine is the ability of both sides to relay mines faster than they can be cleared, using artillery. I am not sure if this vehicle will address that issue any better than any of the other ones we have seen already in Ukraine. As part of a broader plan it might help, but the idea that any individual 'wunderwaffe' is going to provide 'the answer' is just bunk.
OK, to a depth of one foot. But I wonder what about the mines that are buried a little deeper or will be in the future. This problem remains.
But after all, these devices will be helpful. They are another step towards not sending countless soldiers into the minefields.
It's Russia. The lazy fuckers wouldn't have made the effort. Nor do they have the intelligence to think that far ahead
This isn't a permanent solution to mine clearing, it's made to create a pathway quickly to allow a military advance.
UA-💪
It will last 10 minutes on the modern battlefield.its useless
Great training video. So how many made it to Ukraine ? I only saw a home made modified tractor appearing in Ukraine.
You'll see better stuff if you watch something other than russian propaganda channels.
Obviously you haven't watched too many videos then. There are hundreds of mine clearing vehicles in Ukraine from numerous countries. Plus Ukraine has been building their own with whatever they can.
