Hi Jeffrey, Like with most reels, if you keep it clean ( no sand and rinse it after every use) and do the Service once per season, it will treat you well. So many folks don't to those simple steps and then they have problems.

Yes you are right I do mine when I come home from fishing I do reels and rods then lube reel thanks 🐟
