Thanks for this video! So could I connect the transmitter to my camera via HDMI, and then connect my on-board monitor to the transmitter via SDI, while at the same time transmitting the signal to another monitor via the wireless transmission?
Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use pass through with HDMI in and SDI out on the transmitter while still sending a wireless signal to the receivers.
@@FilmmakerSurvival awesome, thank you!

Thank you, great video
Thanks for watching!
I love great product review. I'm not a technology guy, but I like innovation, Let's be youtube mat!!! 😎
Thanks for watching. Im a fan of all kinds of tech too!
great review 👌 it would be awesome to see a simple latency test. for example with a clock running and filming the screen of the camera and the screen connected to the receiver :)
Great idea! I'll see what I can do.
Dude. I kinda love the power button lol.
It's definitively easier to find! lol
Thanks for the video! For car stuff which system you think suits better for really long distances?
They i think updated firmware to accept luts i believe also bolt 6ghz systems are now out and same prices
Hello , i try to update my teradek bolt 4k lt 750 rx from pc with boltmenager , at some point shows an error and i turn it off and when i turn it back on show on dhe little screen “please wait” , cant connect anymore with mobile app or pc with cable! Please halp me
Not much I can recommend other than power cycling or removing power for a couples minutes and then powering back on. You may have to contact teradek and send it in to them. Good luck!
If my calculations are correct the 750 LT standard kit + 2 x battery plates for the RX is the cheapest option.
Standard: $2790, + battery plates: $2790 + 318 = $3108
TX + RX separately (no battery mount): $3280, + battery plates = 3280 + 318 = $3598
Deluxe (w/ gold mount) $3720
....So expensive for up-and-coming filmmakers.... Buy once, cry once I guess
Where can you buy the RX battery plates?

I guess the bigger peli case has to be taken into account.
Hey
Great video.
How does it hold up in a house when transmitting between rooms and walls?
Working on set at the moment with the Hollyland Cosmo 600, but I'm losing a lot of quality when transmiting through walls even though I am just around 20ft away.
It works well indoors. In my opinion the 4K Bolt LT is the best wireless video system Teradek has come out with.
Do you know if out there exists a solution where one transmitter, can transmit signal to multiple receivers ?
Yes! All the Teradek Bolt systems can transmit to multiple receivers at the same time. The Bolt 4K LT can have up to 6 receivers per transmitter.
How about Image Quality with Bolt 4K? Thank you
It’s great! You gotta be in range and have a good signal but it’s great. As a commercial dit it’s my go to transmission system
Hello, does it do intercom? Could I use this to send clear com or some other system for communication between director and cameraman? thx
For coms I would recommend the Hollyland Solidcom C1. The Teradek can transmit sound from the camera but it can't work as a com system.
To clarify, the audio is sent to the rx and if connected to a monitor with speakers it can play audio.
@@FilmmakerSurvival Gotcha, thank you!
Is it true that the HDMI is 8-bit only? That's a bit of a downer that the only way to transfer 4K on this setup is to downsample to 8-bit which will likely cause banding.
Edit: Seems like their technical specifications page is incorrect when it says HDMI: 8-bit. In the manual (for the non-LT, the only one I could find) they specify several more options for HDMI, including 10-bit.
From my understanding the 4k is still 10 bit 422.
Yeah, I think the specification page is just incorrect. By the way, nice to see they added LUT support for the Bolt 4K LT in the firmware released a few days ago.
I didn't realize! I'll have to do an update video. Thanks for letting me know.
Why would the wireless TX/RX system need luts? You should be using a professional monitor with that technology already built in.
Yes, while professional monitors and cameras do allow custom LUTs to be loaded, not all lower end monitors and cameras do. There are also other times it can be helpful. A prime example would be this...Years ago I worked on a television show and production didn't want to pay for the DIT to live color grade with his color box. So what we did was have the DP and DIT create LUTs for our different sets during prep. We easily had 8+ monitors on set. Instead of going to every monitor and loading the LUTs and changing them for every scene or set, we loaded them onto the 2 Teredek receivers and whenever we needed to change it we just switched it in the teredak and instantly all monitors on set had the correct LUT for the scene. Having it as a feature can be a lifesaver when you can't have all the stuff.
@@FilmmakerSurvival great example. Thank you.
What cart is that ?
It's a Backstage TR-04. I did a video about it. Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/qpq833-uK4Y/v-deo.html
