Earlier this morning while I was outside, there was this feeling in my heart telling me preach the gospel to somebody, I didn't want to because I was too scared of getting rejected. Then on the same day, this evening, this video popped up. It's amazing how God sends a video like this after what happened. It's like he's speaking to me.

I always feel like "but what if im not really saved" and i re-say the prayer to comit my life to Jesus, but then i keep sinning and falling into sin and anger, then i feel the same way i did before

I don’t want to harden my heart at all I take time everyday to get in his word and pray 🙏 and put things aside to spend time with the lord God and I do not want to grief the holy spirt and I’m on vacation and I’m still making time to get alone in our cabin to pray and talk to God and get in his word cause I want to make sure to Acknowledge the lord and my intentions when I get in the word and write scriptures and pray to God is I’m trying to keep seeking him and grow a closer relationship with the lord God and I read a few verses a day cause I want to fill my sprit with the lords word and I ask the Heavenly Father to plz forgive me and have mercy on me and I ask Heavenly Father to cleanse me and wash me white as snow and help continue grow my faith in you lord Jesus and make me new and keep my heart from getting hardened for I never want my heart to go hard and lord keep my heart soft lord God . Holy sprit I pray and ask for your guidance and lord I thank you for your mercy and grace that you show me even when I don’t deserve it and I ask u give me repentance lord God in the mighty name of Jesus I pray 🙏 amen thank u Marcus for the word !!
There's times God feels further away and some really get worried over this. If you are not willfully sinning this is the main thing as advised here. I don't get too caught up in this because if you feel that peace beyond understanding then the Holy Spirit is with you, Amen.
I struggle so much with paying attention to these videos and when I catch myself zoning out I feel so so so guilty, I pray that god leads me in the right direction

I notice everytime i avoid God because im angry or upset God always calls me back. Today i wanted to not spend time with God and do whatever because i believe that im a reprobate and my conscience is seered with the hot iron and my heart is harden and found no point in following God. I mistaked my OCD as God's voice and been decived by it for months and when i realised God never spoke to me in months i cried and that was why i ran from God and this happened yesterday. But today God brought me back i cant resist God for a whole 24 hr its impossible he always finds a way.God proved to me he never left me to begin with ehen i couldnt hear his voice for months all because i heard a sermon saying you commited the unforgivable sin when you know full on well you cant hear Gods voice no more.
I pray that He softens your heart and you desire him more than ever

So Marcus I’ve been wondering about something of late and it’s mostly been about the people who have a lot of free time or young people who don’t got jobs yet and can’t really donate anything to churches yet and pretty much, what should they do?, when you have so much time on your hands as someone who follows Christ what can and should you do with that free time?, I understand that free time can be a gift from god but I always feel guilty about when I go to rest like there’s something scratching at the back of my mind telling me “ your wasting time, your taking god for granted, you could be doing something else but ur selfish” and feels like I’m always being condemned for just taking a moment to think of relax, I’ve been praying to god about this and anytime I get an answer the thoughts just keep reappearing of how I’m lazy, your wasting time, ect. But it’s great to see your videos, they have helped a lot in my journey in finding Christ ❤
I think that even at a young age, you can get involved in the youth group and start there. Speak to your youth pastor about ways that you can do more for God. There are mission trips the youth at my church go on. Maybe you can do something like that
Be obedient. Pursue repentance and holiness. Commune with God, worship regularly, read the Word. Seel first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness and the rest will be added to you. God has a purpose for your life so the closer you get to Jesus, the more you can walk in your purpose. But yeah first and foremost make sure you are walking in obedience

I've been guilty in doing this. I pray God forgives me for this, because I don't wanna disrespect Him by doing that. It's a PRIVILIGE that He even bestowed the Holy Spirit within us, so it must be insulting to Him. That's why HE must come first.
Matthew 6:33 - "But seek FIRST His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

I have been not feeling the same with God. I dont feel guilty anymore when I sin and that really shook me. Before when I sinned I would check if I feel guilty and it would in a way comfort me and make me sure that I still have the Holy Spirit but I just dont anymore. My prayers got less emotional and it just feels so dry even though I try so hard. I just dont feel how I felt before with God. I dont know if I am hardening my heart or my ears are dull or if God is testing me but all I know is that it has been very difficult. I still pray. I have even started reading from 2 times a day to now recently 3 times a day but I just dont feel the same. I pray that God gives back that conviction and pray that he guides my life the way he wants to.
I feel the exact same way! As soon as this season started I’ve just felt so distant from God… I’ve even started waking up early to spend an hour with Him, and I pray to Him often during the day, I sing worship songs to Him, I talk to Him about how I feel about everything… but I don’t feel anything at all. I get conviction when I sin but it’s not as strong as it used to be. I’ve been trying really hard to hear His voice and I’ve asked Him to because I long to be close to Him and I feel like knowing His voice will help me get closer to Him, I mean we should all know His voice (John 10:27). I’m never gonna give up but I feel like I’m just doing something wrong and I don’t know what it is. I keep asking Him to open my ears and open eyes to hear and see, and I told Him how much I desire to just be with Him and know Him and not let my heart get softened. A few weeks ago, I prayed to God, and I opened up my Bible to 1 Peter and it answered what I was praying for, and I remember weeping with joy with every verse I read, especially in the first chapter. Now I feel numb to His word, which breaks my heart. I don’t know what happened. I’m trying so hard to connect with Him and I’m trying so hard to give everything Him and to let Him be in control. I just wish I could find Him and actually feel it, you know? Whenever I think He tells me something, I just end up doubting it, and I honestly think it’s my own head most likely telling me stuff. But today I “heard”: “Your doubt is strong” which made me feel really bad and I repented since I know faith is pleasing to God and obviously doubt is not. I don’t know. Just trying to take things day at a time. I’m looking for a church too cause I don’t know anyone else who seeks God like I’m trying to do.
You will need to stop willfully sinning. Sin separates us from God. The more you sin and don't repent or feel guilty, the harder your heart gets. Stop going through the morions and really pour your heart into your relationship with Him and you will see things start to change. Repent of your sin and stop going back to it. God bless you
@@marcusdixon1 Thanks for your reply! I believe that I am not willfully sinning, rather I am fighting against it. I think I’m doing much better than I did before. I am extremely hard on myself so whenever I make even a small mistake I feel conviction and repent and thank God for His mercy. I guess right now I just feel numb and stuck.

Your sin seperated you from God, but thats why Christ came to bear our sin,
Repent, and don't become anxioud. Ask God to forgive, and keep praying to God that He Will increase your love and faithfulness, and desire for Him like a thristy deer in the desert.
Remember the parable Jesus gave? The woman kept begging the unjust king, and there the king gave her what she wanted just to put her away from her wailing.
How much more, you being a child of pure, perfect, patient, Loving, and just God, Will He give you whst you ask Him that pleases Him?
Don't lose hope, keep seeking God, and you Will find.

I'm a teenager, so I really need help with this. How do I know that I am unknowingly gardening my heart against God? I don't want to, but I feel like my short temper and people who annoy me cause me to stumble by being petty and hitting them because they are being frustrating. I really need help with this.
Yeah, you may have some work to do my friend. First, the bible tells us to be slow to anger and slow to speak, so when people upset you, you have to have grace for them and not be petty back. Definitely don't hit anyone, that is anti-Christ. The bible tells us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. This isn't meaning our literal neighbor only but everyone in the world. Continue to ask God to help you have a softer heart and make real effort to obey the Holy Spirit when He tells you that you need to respond a certain way to things that upset you.

I wouldn’t say that they make you lukewarm unless you spend more time with video games than you do with God. If you continue to choose playing video games over reading your Bible or praying, or if you have played video games four days in a row but haven’t read you Bible in 2 weeks, you have a problem

Yes, you can do the work of God but in limited ways that He calls you to. I think you can get a job anywhere but if you want to work for God, ask Him how He wants to use you. You don't HAVE to do anything, but I think you NEED to do the will of God
