Punda Maria Camp - Kruger National Park

This camp in the far north of the Kruger has a very interesting history. The huts are still kept in the same style with overhanging thatch roofs and supporting poles. The camp has a swimming pool, a hide and a water hole outside the camp in front of the hide. There are some special birds and tree in the area around Punda Maria.

I love this camp... the northern part of the Kruger is much better the busy south. I would like to just go and enjoy the vibe of true african nature... even if I do not see the big five.

How often do you go? We are planning to go in August... We enjoy the kruger in the winter times.
