I had always watched Chinese movies, but during the pandemic around the world,my girls encouraged me to start reading on line,my first novel to read is titled "my love is a secret",after deeply loving the storyline,I told my girls that I will love to watch it on screen, but they encouraged me to watched korean dramas, I indeed watched, but I still ventured back to Chinese,went to UA-cam watched Zhan han dramas,not until toward the middle of last year, this drama popped up for me. Naturally, I love history of any tribe,especially in either films or drama,it even drives to research on the people's culture and traditions. This particular drama hits the nail for me. Everything is in it. Humour, comedy, scheming, tragedy especially when the Empress tried to be kind and loving to all,and the concubines were pretending ,to extend of not allowing her the joy of a child,her dead,hmmn! I truly wept, I cried when the emperor refused the love between yanyan and Fuch.i seriously cried again when the story came that he died of Maleria. Hahaaaaa! I am from Africa precisely Nigeria 🇳🇬. When I heard Maleria killed one of main star in this drama, 😳I was like...... A good show,well done to all the cast. Because of this particular drama,I sorted out other drama just to see them all. Royal feast,A knock at happiness door. Yet,all were interesting, but to me,no Chinese historical drama will beat this one at all. Nei yuan, Xu kai, wei jinya ,my emperor's Eunuch and others you all did well.
My first impression to watch drama is this story. I went to learn about the dynasty as i was so affected by the drama. Still watching this. So memorable. Two persons true love towards a single woman. Seems realistic when watching. My eyes were filled with tears when i saw fuheng at the last scene. His smile was so cute with love. Now I am watching royal feast. It's not so touching as this story but something nice to watch them together. Support from South India. All the best for the crew and thank you for the English subtitles.

the most painfull scene in yanxi palace...i actually cried a lot in this drama huhu even though they didn't end up here..we knew how they unconditionally loved each other...but now many years later but I'm still longing for them...even I'm finally satisfied with Royal feast!😭🤍❤️

我也是冲着聂远来看延禧攻略这部戏的，无论扮相和演技，聂远在国内男演员中都是一流的，尤其是对令妃那种内心有深爱，但外表还要不在乎的细节，每一个细节都拿捏的很好，希望聂远将来能够排出更多的好作品。
其实看这部剧不是以前那种虐心的剧了 主要人物角色都交代得比较清楚 然后戏中每个选择其实都很符合人物的性格，是那个人物内心想做的 所以作为观众就很能理解了 不像以前某些青春剧一个劲为了苦情 但是并不现实
