IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A KAMABOKO SQUAD ONE. 1. THE GIYUTAN NOOOO (i despise that ship sm omg they’re literally so brother-coded what in the world Giyū is the big bro he never had omg omg). People will often overlook the stronger aspects of Tanjirō for his kind nature; even if his kindness is a defining part of him, it isn’t *all* of him. He is strong-willed, he protects those he loves, he resents Muzan for what he did to his family, and is understanding and mature even to those who are immature (not childish at all, this man witnessed his family get massacred, set out to get revenge and save his sister, is prepared to battle Muzan anytime he meets him, and is still the nicest character in the show). Remember when that one husband was scorning Tanjirō in S1 and saying that he “didnt understand” and was “just a kid”? And Tanjirō looked at him with these knowing eyes, conveying that he did know, he knew even more than the man, and yet he chose to peacefully calm the man down because he understood how he was feeling. He is empathetic, sympathetic, AND STRONG!!!! Tanjirō sees Rengoku and Giyū as his role models, striving to be as strong and kind as them, being able to sacrifice their happiness or life for a path they chose or people they care about. Tanjirō is the one who gets Giyū to snap out of it and join the Hashira Training by reminding him that sacrifices made should be honored, shedding light on Sabito’s true reason for saving Giyū and pushing him to stop moping and help others, just as Sabito wanted. I could go on and on about how great Tanjirō is but I think I’ve conveyed my love for his character already. STOP REDUCING HIM TO SOME PUSHOVER, PEOPLE!!! 2. I-WHAT?? THE SKIRT?? TENGEN????? EXCUSE ME?????? TENGEN LITERALLY HAS 3 LOVING WIVES??????? Yes, Zenitsu is a simp, yes, he is a coward, yes, he yells Nezuko-Chan. Have people forgotten the exact reason he’s such a wimpy simpy? (srry i had to) His family was never there for guidance, likely causing his unsureness of his own strength, so his “gramps” took him in and trained him in hopes of mending the impact that his parents lack of presence had on him (not to mention Kaigaku’s influence in his insecurities). He’s tried running away from his gramps and so many other problems that he’s accepted his own weakness, failing to go past his initial fears, failing to fulfill his grandpa’s wishes. He had also been manipulated by many women before he met Tanjirō, getting put into debt by many of them thanks to his blind love for them, seeking acceptance from whatever source he could get. Deep down, Zenitsu cares about Nezuko and his friends and he just acts weird because he doesn’t know how else to (not excusing him for his..questionable actions, but still, he’s got semi-pure intentions). Even with how he acts before meeting that disgusting fanon version, he thinks “I hope he’s cool”, projecting his own desires to be less cowardly and more manly to appeal to those he cares about. Now imagine his surprise when he meets this creature who is, A. Shorter than him, B. Much wimpier than him, and C. Somehow in a relationship with the man he resents…i would wish i got hit by lightning too bro 😭 Truly what is it with the kamaboko stereotypes and shipping them with older hashira members…they’re *minors* and the hashiras are *grown adults* 😭 ALSO, Zenitsu *can* be strong at times, he’s not always crying or complaining (another example of a character’s defining trait being the only thing about them that people care about…) 3. The unprompted sleeping help 😭 Seems like some fans really did not watch past the first season or so because we have learned so much about Nezuko as a character and her relationships with the kamaboko squad and yet people still reduce her to “sleeping baby always protected by Tanjiro”…the entertainment district arc showed how strong she was, in sword-smith village arc we saw her overcome her demon qualities and sacrifice herself for the villagers, I could go on. Yes, she sleeps quite a lot, thats because she has to as a demon to survive without drinking human blood. IT IS NOT THE ONLY THING SHE DOES. WE SEE HER HANG OUT WITH THE SQUAD, MITSURI, WE SEE HER SEWING RIPPED KIMONO, WE SEE HOW SHE WAS RESPONSIBLE AS A HUMAN AND THE SECOND-OLDEST IN THE FAMILY, NEZUKO IS A QUEEN!!! 4. The mischaracterization is APPARENT for this one…Inosuke is prideful, emotionally intelligent, and will go on his own path to follow what he believes is more interesting/“right”. He isn’t always looking for a fight, he only gets into them if his own ideals are challenged. HER BEING BRATTY CONTRADICTS HER *ENTIRE CHARACTER.* She was raised in a place where it would’ve been reasonable for her to give up, to later grow up and be spiteful, BUT SHE DIDN’T. Because Shinobu and Kanae found her, raised her to be kind, AND SHE MAINTAINS THAT KINDNESS AFTER KANAE PASSES. *THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT.* Kanao cares about her family SO much and upholds her respect by following whatever they believe is best for her, never realizing that what her sisters truly wanted was for her to think of herself for once. She overcomes that in this beautiful way when she meets Tanjirō, who suffered similar tragedies as her, and was still able to keep pushing and fighting for his own sister while staying adamant in his own beliefs. She’s inspired by his strong psyche and begins to rely on the coin less and less, *THAT WAS THE ENTIRE POINT OF HER MEETING TANJIRŌ. NOT EVEN ROMANCE AT FIRST. HE WAS JUST THAT NICE.* (i know i like exploded but this stereotype really irked me omg i love kanao’s charavter sm and for her to be-once again-reduced to her relationship with another character, robbed of her ideals, and overall just snubbed of so much great thinking that could’ve occurred if some people would just stop to understand the characters for a second before projecting their own desired image onto her and calling it a day (this honestly applies for any character in any franchise)). KANAO IS SUCH A STRONG QUEEN AND SHE SHALL NOT FALL VICTIM OF STEREOTYPES‼️‼️😠✊

Genya my baby what have they done to you 😭 Genya puts on a rough exterior to try and appeal to Sanemi (who he views as a role-model and wholeheartedly wants to make up with but doesn’t know how), while inside he’s extremely caring and will not hesitate to make sacrifices to maintain the relationships he is lucky enough to have now. The day his mother (SPOILERS FOR SANEMI AND GENYA BACKSTORY) turned into a demon and witnessed Sanemi kill her, he couldnt believe that the reliable big brother he knew would do such a thing, calling him a monster in his fit of confusion and sadness. He’s gone on to regret that day ever since because it caused him and Sanemi’s relationship to crumble; he’s tried so hard to get past his mediocre swordsmanship to stand by his big brother Nemi again, sacrificing a part of his humanity by eating demons as a desperate attempt at getting Sanemi’s attention in some kind of way, to get him to acknowledge him as his little brother again. He isn’t desperate for meaningless attention “just because”, all he wants is his big brother back, forever blaming himself for their falling-out and not recognizing that Sanemi was distancing himself *for* Genya (although in a very mean way). I also see him reduced to a brute like Inosuke is, even though Genya is like the definition of “gentle giant”, his tough attitude was adopted in his desperation for Sanemi’s approval (approval to be even related to somebody is actually insane though like Sanemi was not being a very good big bro back then), also his scenes where he gets flustered around girls is so cute because ofc he would after being raised with 2 younger sisters and his mom and them being the only female influence in his life (which was later taken from him AHH 😭) YAYY ANOTHER RAMBLE SOLICITED FROM ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO 😼😼🫶🫶 also forgot to mention but your designs are so so cute, they resemble canon so well and yet have little stylistic details in their faces and hair omg i love how you do their hair it looks so fluffy (especially Tanjirō and Genya’s) 😭💕
