Spent 10 days in Kauai this summer as a family. By far our most favorite trip to date. Rich in culture, beauty, and adventure. One of our family favorites was the Blue Dolphin boat tour out to the Napali Coast to snorkle. Swimming with sea turtles, beautiful fish, and dolphins was a once in a lifetime. Happy Birthday!!
Amazing video. Kauai is so beautiful. I spent 6 months there as a missionary, probably my favourite island of them all. The views you guys shared were incredible. Good to see you guys back, it’s been a while.
I love Kauai so much. I’ve been there three times and I always see something new. Of course the first time I went it was with my 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter. It was my favorite family vacation. We returned four years later and it was still awesome. The last time was a girls trip with my mom and sister in law. It was the last trip I took with my mom and we had so much fun. I really want to go back, but there are other places I have never been to that I want to see, so no plans for Kauai right now. Thanks for sharing the beautiful sights of Kauai.

Any chance you had an opportunity to do the secret tunnel hike to the North Shore? It's a hike on Kauai through an old mining tunnel that I can remember reading about several years ago. Supposedly it brings you out in a secluded valley with a pretty epic waterfall, though like I said I've only every read about it. Great video as always. Any possibility of taking one of your older nephews like Ryler or Turin on one of your adventures? Well... back to waiting for the next video.

In 1980 a young Navy wahine took me to Kauai for a few days. She had a lot of money because she used to sell pakalolo. We went up to Kokee park near the top of Waimea Canyon. We stayed at one of the cabins just before you get to the park. There were three cabins there. It was very nice and it was cold at night. It had a fireplace and firewood. But the park only provided us with just one blanket. We went to bed and at midnight I felt that woman shivering really bad. I think she was very cold. So I built a fire in the fireplace then we had some exercise in bed which warmed us up a little. I woke up a little later because I heard knocking on the wall outside but I wasn’t brave enough to check it out.

How rough was the water on the speed boat? As someone who tends to get seasick on the larger boats in rough water but not so much on a speed boat if it keeps moving, I wonder if I would regret this excursion?
I got to experience the Nepali coast via cruise ship. 🛳️ While it was incredibly beautiful how awesome for the two of you to experience it more up close and personal.
