Part 1: • Irv Gotti on Turning H...
    ----
In this clip, Irv Gotti spoke about Murder Inc. becoming an international label which was due in large part to the success of Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule's hit "I'm Real." Irv explained how the feds stopped him making an enormous amount of money during Murder Inc.'s height with the money laundering case. He went on to explain to Vlad how his success was independent of any help from Supreme McGriff.

Irv is one of the most important people ever in hip hopand no one will ever give him his credit. If he never co-signs DMX then that entire Ruff Ryder movement never pops off. If he never steps in and helps Hov and Dame out then the Roc would've never existed. Dude is a pioneer.

Imagine if the Murder Inc (group) which consisted of Hov, X, and Ja would have released their supergroup album. Irv was such a force that he was able to get them to come together for that because even tho their egos were big, they all had enough to respect for Irv to do it. They were even on the cover of XXL together and it came so close to happening but didn’t for various other reasons 😤

Nya Mccoy I understand what you’re saying and would agree however the argument is flawed. Pls tell me what you think these white companies are doing and passed that ... the Government uses drugs to find everything. They stop blacks from doing the same thing whites do. It did not happen until they tried to get together. Pls do the research. I thought the same thing but now I know. At the end of the day Bill Cosby is in jail and Weinstein paid $44 million so they say. It’s a different ball game when you’re black. We just can’t see it. Look up Gary Web, Look up Iran Contra. It’s so deep it will blow your mind. Nothing is ever just what it seems on the surface.

I might miss a few but some i know off top was Nikki D, Onyx, Redman, Meth, Erick sermon(defsquad) Keith Murray, then the rest Jay , dmx, lrv etc. Ppl fronted him but he was their A&r before Def jam had sense enuff to bring him on da bizness side of things! He brought lyor cohen to the hood to hear dmx raw n uncut got signed same day. Helped Jay biggs & dame score a distribution deal after priority fell thru for Rocafella! He's basically the muscle & da buffer b/w the label & artist . Prime example is foxy brown she helped keep the lights on 2 but w/ assistance of Gotti & Jay shotgun. How is that the same thing, when the money goes to your child? It seems like there are hardly any real men anymore. No real man complains about supporting their children, investing in their legacies. Stop spreading your seeds haphazardly if you know you don’t have what it takes to start and support a “ family”. Stop trying to have sex with anything moving, when you didn’t take time to know who was mothering your child. You need her to be more than cute. You didn’t take the time to find find a suitable wife and mother to raise your kids. Give her a decent house somewhere good for your kids, and she will make it a home. These things are basic. The whole broken home thing doesn’t work, stop! It’s time to go back to basics! Unfortunately so many manboys never had decent father’s to teach them this.
Young women stop allowing any old bum to share in your gene pool. You are are permanently attaching yourselves to boys/men who are only meant to be temporary in your lives. Do not sacrifice your body, and commit to giving a man an heir an extension of himself into eternity, when he wont commit to you in life. You can divorce eachother legally, if the marriage doesn’t work, but a child is an attachment that cannot be undone, even in death. Thereby I don’t understand the willingness to have children with random people, but the fear of marriage. There’s a bunch of lost grown women who can’t be saved, so I say young girls because there’s hope for you learn from the previous generation’s missteps. Take some time to learn some skills that benefit and enrich the lives of you and yours. You do need to learn to prepare healthy meals for healthy kids. Learn how to garden, you get my drift. Everyone is so obsessed with money, but the real wealth is land where you can grow food to feed yourself and your kids. It’s the worst feeling to go to the market and all the shelves are empty, but your kids are hungry. You’ve got a bunch of useless money in your pocket. Your kids cannot eat that. The moment you realize you may be too dependent on your government and the infrastructure. This happened to me after a hurricane and the roads were blocked and no trucks could make deliveries. Thank goodness I had carribbean parents, one who was poor and always stockpiled extras, for fear of not having enough. We made out fine, but lesson learned. Obsession over your looks, gets old real quick. Just like a pretty boy who cannot What can you teach your kids? Men too can you fix the car? Can you help your kid with math homework past 4th grade. Great you can finish every video game ever created, but what can you teach your son about being a real man. People take sex too casual nowadays, there’s nothing casual about. Get pregnant for a psycho bum, your kids become psycho bums, if he doesn’t kill you first. Take time to vet your partners, and if you just have to smash, protect yourself. An adult has responsibilities, a primary responsibility is to control our fertility until we have created a good environment for starting a family, a nest. I know I’m on my soapbox, I don’t mean to be preachy, but I care about the kids. I am tired of seeing kids born with no chance, because they had dumb, ratchet, irresponsible parents. I care about my people. We all need to do better.

Msboochie2 sounds like you experienced this before. Nothing wrong with sex if your using condoms, if the condom breaks or he’s not ready for a kid there has to be an agreement. Everyone gonna live they life it don’t matter what you say, women majority of times picks the thugs and hood guys but leave the nice guys....whose fault is that you’re a single mom because you thought your Pussy could change a thug? Another thing I noticed about majority of women (black women in particular) is they never take accountability. Always blame the black man or the white man but never themselves. Now since they have a child and raising them by themselves they are vulnerable and willing to date anybody...desperation? A lot is being blamed on black men, how about we stop pointing fingers and start giving ideas moving forward. All this entitlement is getting played out already, accidents happen so why should I be forced into something I didn’t mean? “You should’ve thought about that before fucking me” sad

@@Msboochie2 love your comment! We need to return to the system humans used for thousands of years before the satanic media told people they could Fuck without consequences. Waiting for sex until marriage was there to protect both society and men and women. All these kids from broken homes growup angry and hurt and some end up on drugs. The fault is on both men and women..only immature perils blame the opposite sex whenit takes 2 to tango. Find a suitable partner before you have sex! Because there are consequences. And the innocent children brought into these awful situations deserve food clothes and housing! We all need to do better!
