What would you say is more stable the big fish or dorado ?
CATAMARAN, not cathedral. Being that stable, I think it would be great to set it up for sailing! Kayak sailing is a new development in kayak sports.

@@AliexFolgueira yeah it was a pretty sweet place, definitely going to go there again next time I need a new kayak. I just took the boat out for the first time. The big fish 108 is what I would call A beautiful beast.

We have been working on that, unfortunately I tried to replace the rudder and made a huge mess lol all my fault 😂 gotta fix they first but I never seem to have time to get to it lol
I’m looking at this or the top water pdl. I live in NM so a test of either is not going to happen. Old Town seems to have the same spec, just an inch wider but a lot lighter.
Old town also have a better drive
@@AliexFolgueira appreciate the input. The 3 rivers looks more stable but the old town has been around awhile and tried and true. Seems to be anyways.

So I went to this place after seeing your other videos and this guy seemed reluctant to sell me a big fish 108. To my surprise I saw him in this video today setting yours up. Now I'm confused on if I should get one or not. He made it sound like the drive sucks.

I really like the look of the eightball steering column however i am very use to getting out left side of kayak guess im gonna have to exit right 😜. However if there's a flaw in this steering knob is that its long and extrudes beyond the flush of boat edges thats very problematic were they not paying attention during design? I dont know just seems its setup to high percentage breakage!

Man Aliex im torn i was looking at the shearwater 125 also looking at the bigfish 120 but when i saw this in so tempted to get this one oh man im just not a fan of the pedal system i worry about maintenance how well its sealed etc.

I bought this exact kayak, I still have it in my shop. It has not even been in the water yet because I had an injury at work and can no longer use it. I didn't buy the pedal system or the seat when I bought the Kayak, so now I guess I'm looking to try and sell just the kayak by itself.

That's a great looking boat Aliex, I'm not so sure about that 8 ball tiller though...are the front deck scupper holes under the platform where you can stand, I didn't notice, except for the ones at the stern..curious to see how durable it is....looking forward to you testing this kayak, and putting through its paces....👍
More testing is needed, I think the 8 ball works great do far, need some rough seas to test

Put a pool noodle or a water pipe insulator on your camera poles to prevent loss due to sinkling. It will save footage and money.

Hobie pa is a more refined boat, way better seat, a drive that is is matured and lots more features that's why it costs more, a lot more
Between the 3 Waters Big Fish 108, and the Native Titan Propel 13.5, which craft do we feel offers greater overall stability? And which one has more depth in the cockpit area?

Love this, i'm disabled in uk. I've only one arm on the left side & compared to a Hobie I had near to when they first came out, I had to get rid as it were heavy and cumbersome. 12 ft long & for me personally difficult to stay steady. great fishing trips on it, but needed a 10 footer. Was the only way I could fish. Sadly I cannot afford to get a ten footer, despite this being perfect for my needs in every way. It helped with my mental health and wellbeing. Not just to enjoy the only exercise I could do on the water but the fishing that I'm missing very much. I envy you.
Not sure how long it will take to make kayak fishing easier for special people, I know some companies where trying
@@AliexFolgueira well, for me I've no problem pedalling & the kayak shown is nice and wide & the steering perfectly positioned as I'm left handed anyway. It's just finding the cash. Charities over here are few and far between and don't seem to want to help anyway. A 10footer is is more manageable. You will surprised by people who underestimate what I can you.

This kayak is a big hunk of junk. Steering controller disintegrated on the fourth trip out. Pedal drive is loud and grinds. Seat us way too low on the highest setting so get set to have pedals as high as your chest. The string that raises the rudder is so flimsy I’m afraid to use it because I know it will break. Finally, two cup holders that won’t hold anything. I had it 30 days and Austin Kayak has offered to order another piece of junk controller. I guess I’ll get it fixed and have a fire sale. Stay away from this pile of junk. Stay with the good brands.

Dude, Looks like a dream to fish from but the weight 115lbs? May be OK for a young fit guy like you but some of us would really struggle with that much weight.
A nice cart will fix all that. You gotta get something that works for you, the slayer weights more...
