Nice vids. Have a second interview to do CAD mozaik at a wood shop tomorrow. They’re gonna be shocked that I know how to do a kitchen without mozaik training yet 😂🙏🏻
@ivxxy.__ haha that's the best comment I've had yet that's amazing .
@@hillcrestcabinets yeah bro im so glad dude. I hope they got a cabinet library already made, if not im sure I’ll have to split faces and interiors like you showed me in your other vid. We’ll see🙏🏻 cheers
Well good luck on your interview 👍
@@hillcrestcabinets thank you sir
Dude your channel is so helpful.
@mcfarlandcustoms Thanks appreciate it!
@@hillcrestcabinets currently having some issues with mozaik custom parameters not applying. Any resources you suggest I check out? Trying to move the rear line bore up so that my shelf’s sit at an angle but the line bore won’t move. I can get the shelf to be angled, but no luck with the holes moving
@@mcfarlandcustoms are you trying to make an angled shoe shelf?
@@hillcrestcabinets no, just trying to move the entire rear line bore up. I need to do it on quite a few cabinets, so I would like to use a custom parameter to do it.
Hmm I'll try an experiment tomorrow to see if I can get that working you might have to remove the holes all together and do it all in custom parameters
Hello,
First of all, I want to thank you for the information provided in your videos. They are truly concise and very informative. I would like to ask about doors: I am also using the Mozaik program and encountered a problem where I am making MDF doors at maximum speed (100%). There's a lot of dust, and the vacuum cleaner can't keep up. At 20% speed, it takes an exceptionally long time. The doors are of the double shaker type. I'm considering how to optimize the process to perform this task quickly. Do you have any advice on this?
Thank you.
Hey no problem. Some things you can do... increase the diameter of the pipe and or reduce the length of pipe if possible from the dust collector to cnc we have a 10 inch pipe close to cnc then reduce to 6 inch right to the dust boot. This made a massive difference. Also our dust collector filter needs to be blown out more when cutting mdf we can last about 1-2 month. Lastly throw some blast gates on tools that aren't being used to increase cfm
@@hillcrestcabinets Thank you, I will try to make some changes.
@@GeorgesBeast what type of cnc do you have ?
@@hillcrestcabinets We have a CNC Router from the brand bcamcnc onboard with a Syntec 60w-e.. We are cutting 5/8 particle melamine board for cabinets and 3/4 MDF in a two-step design for doors.
