I've been try to figure this out for some time, had most of the notes but was lost without those 7ths. Thank you so much, and you sound just like Slim too.
Very, very nice lesson ! You're going rigth to the thing without speaking to much. And the tab and the recording are very helpfull. With all your vidéos I make a lot of progress. ( Excuse if my english is no good, I'm from " France" )
Well done, and timely for me as I've convinced our band to start working on this song. We will be doing it like Kim Wilson and the Thunderbirds in the Key of E, but otherwise pretty much the same. My bandmates do not like playing in F, which is too bad as I like to use a Bb. One question - are those split octaves in licks 6 & 7? Thanks again Tomlin.
Thanks Tomlin. Yes, it is too bad. Our lead guitar player, who is a terrific blues guitarist, really doesn't like the key of F. It's a shame because playing a Bb in second position can be so sweet, but at least these guys really love the blues, keep it down the middle in the Chicago style, and let me play lots of harp. And we really mix things up playing in quite a few keys (other than F). I am aching to play my Seydel 1847 Bb, though.
Thanks for uploading another video. I am trying to learn vibrato now, but am not getting it at all. I watched a few videos on youtube, but I still don't get it/can't do it. Sometimes I feel like I am just shaking my head furiously. Do you maybe have any tutorial on vibrato?
