Thank you so much, Dr. Joe, for yet another very informative and instructive video. I suffer a lot of sleep deprivation due to bad habits of staying up late most nights for non-essential things. This video is another clarion call for me to rethink my unhealthy behaviours and prioritise my sleep. Thank you once more🙏.
Thank you Dr. Joe... This is very important information for many... Much appreciated... Blessings and wellbeing throughout for you and your family ❤🕊️🙏🏽...
Triglycerides are normal now. Total cholesterol 185. However, LDL remains relatively high. Great information Dr. Joe. I do appreciate all that you are doing for us!
Thank you, Dr. Joe! Overall, l am extremely health conscious regarding my food consumption, exercise, etc. However, l rarely sleep well. My cholesterol is high at 252. I now have a greater understanding of my heath challenges because of the information you provided. Thank you.
I needed to hear this. I get to sleep late, but once I do lay down I'm out like a light bulb. I was told that's because I'm sleep deprived. I set my alarm so I will get ready for bed, but most nights ignore it. Eek.
I always say sleep is an event that is always 'work in progress' for a lot of adults for a variety of reasons. Only small percentage of adults get good quality sleep and enough hours too. I have done a number of videos on sleep. There will be more this year. As with most lifestyle approaches, it's not one thing that you do but a variety of things that either disrupt or enhance your sleep
This makes sense. I’m the perfect example. My cholesterol is high but I exercise and eat right but I don’t sleep well. Thank you doctor Joe!
Glad to point this out
Same.

Chances are that this correlation extends to most demographics.
Probably
I am lucky, I sleep well.

For someone with high cholesterol and sleep 5 to 6 hours daily.
Thank you

If taking a sedative, to sleep does this still have no effect on sleep and cholesterol
It depends on the quality of the sleep, sedative or no sedative. Sedatives are never a guarantee of good quality sleep
Thanks Dr joe when i have real porridge my leptin levels are satisfied even just eating that.
Good to hear
But my sleep is terrible 😢
Good sleep is always work in progress
So true, I have chronic insomnia and my cholesterol is high in spite of my strict diet regime.
It's certainly contributing
How can we increase cyp7A1?
By getting good quality sleep and sleeping long enough
Thank you Dr. Joe❤
