At this point I don't care what anyone says...Babymonster is amazing. The fact that they've already tried different things outside of the YG formula and have been so successful with them show more and more that they can do anything they're given. This song is another hit and I can't wait for their album in October!

4/01 was their 7 member debut date. As far at the meaning of the song - it is about living well and conqueering the world with self confidence. the MV is Pharita's dream based on Disney movies: Peter Pan with Big Ben and flying on the clouds with fireworks, Cinderella with the silver shoie (glass slippers) and the clock hitting midnight, and mostly Snow White stuck in the Forever Sleep and she wakes up to birds singing surrounded by the dwarfs. She is the only one sleeping showing it is her dream as well as she is the only one who supernatural stuff happens to during the dream: her reflection does not follow physics, she shrinks and is stuck in the claw machine, she is the only one flying upside down in the car and even her hair ignores gravity, the slow motion falling to wake up in the bed. The music at the end is the same as the beginning showing that she is in a dream loop. The box with 2 shoes and unopened invitation proves that she never went to the event because she is stuck in the Forever Sleep (original name for it in Snow White). They also say over and over, "It was only a dream". They should have ended with Pharita looking through the peephole and take it back to the beginning seeing Ruka up to the point where she whispers, "Baby Monster".
@glenndavis1868 haha very nice. Yea I confirmed during the vid that 4/1 was the album release date which is the same thing. It's funny that I caught the Cinderella stuff but not the others. Thanks for watching and for the insight!

@@JeffReacts12 My opinion there are only 2 Elite Level Top Teir girl groups who have it all and all songs they put out are absolute hits. Blackpink, BabyMonster, & Everglow and I am addicted to all 3 of them. Forever is song of the year.
@@glenndavis1868 all good choices. I love all three as well. I don't think I've got Forever as my soty but it's really freakin good
I think their sound is really beginning to shine through, the YG is still there but more subtle than previous songs for sure..
100% agree. I love that they are getting to express a new style or rather a style that let's them shine rather than JUST being stuck in the typical YG formula. Their future is so bright I can barely stand it.
It's B.A.B.Y.M.O.N. yes YG mis managed BlackPink by not putting more material out, I think that was trying the leave them wanting more adage and it worked and backfired at the same time.
@BadCowboy67 exactly. I've had people say it wasn't mismanaging because they're the biggest group but I'm sorry... you've been a group for closing in on a decade and you have less than 50 songs? Solo songs don't count unless they're on a group album imo but even with the solo stuff it's still less than 50. It's insane. As big as BP is and was...they could've been so much more. The only reason I stop a little short of completely saying it was mismanagement is because I don't know how much of it was also the girls wanting breaks and such. I know they wanted to do more but I don't know how much more.
All of that aside... babymonster is shaping up to have an amazing career already!
@@JeffReacts12 I will say BabyMons7er is shaping up to be nothing like BlackPinks little siter group. BlackPink had more poppy songs where so far BabyMons7er has more mature/adult songs. They are more of a cross between BlackPink and Mamamoo stylistically to me.
@BadCowboy67 Tbh I wouldn't even mind if they were "blackpink's little sister" BUT I am glad they're getting their own style already. The pre debut was very YG formula but after that...while there have been yg elements clearly in some (like Sheesh) they're also getting to try newer things. I think they have a bright future indeed.
