Actually the melody is very different to the ABBA song Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. She samples just the intro to that song and repeats it as a motif throughout. Lyrics very different. Spirit of the song very different. Love both songs. And as you point out, she paid handsomely for the sample. And both of the ABBA boys are also on the writing credits so can't see what all the fuss is about. COADF is an inspired and inspiring album. One of my very favourites of all time.
