@@spirosailingtime Awesome I am in Brossard. I have been thinking about sail from Montreal to Toronto what is your view on that? Have you done that trip before?
@@robboss5144 I want to go from Toronto to Montreal. Or at least Kingston to Montreal. The only thing is that you can’t go through the Iroquois locks. There’s a 20’ minimum. You would have to get out there and trailer your boat to the other side. But it’s doable. Especially sailing through 1000 islands.
@@robboss5144 yes. I thought you had a cl16 like mine. Yes. Over 20’ with a motor you are good to go. And you can go back and forth. I was going to trailer my CL to Toronto and sail back to Montreal. Take advantage of the slight current.
Thanks for sharing your adventure! I bought a banshee 13 dinghy and plan to do some cruising as well.
@@RobertWardJones go for it. Best way to simply get on the water. Enjoy.
And the adventures begin
Daunting and exciting sharing the seaway with the big boys. What could go wrong? I will find out . . . binge worthy . . .
Lovely, making adventures . Greetings from the Netherlands
I look forward to seeing more clips of your trip! Thanks, bestRoy
I’ve been watching your clips. They are great. Thank you.
greetings from a fellow CL16 sailor. My boat somehow has ended up in Texas, USA and sails in Galveston Bay on the Gulf of Texas near Houston.
@@jonathanallison1774 much warmer down there compared to where I am. Enjoy.
OMG souvenirs, I learned to sail on CL-16 at L'école de voile de Lachine back in the 1970s!!!
Maybe the CL 16 I bought for parts from l’école de voile de Lachine is one that you sailed on. On sait jamais.
Hi, from Montreal...
Top! Thnx!
Compared to my first launch, where I lost the bung and nearly sank, that was very slick.
I almost did that when I launched my Contessa 26 for the first time. The crane guy noticed that I hadn’t put it in as they were lowering it.
Master Mechanic is Doogie Houser!!!
😂
Pink Floyd? Good
Why shouldn't a GRP boat float??
Local boy are you in Lachine?
Baie D’Urfe.
