    Daunting and exciting sharing the seaway with the big boys. What could go wrong? I will find out . . . binge worthy . . .

    greetings from a fellow CL16 sailor. My boat somehow has ended up in Texas, USA and sails in Galveston Bay on the Gulf of Texas near Houston.

      Maybe the CL 16 I bought for parts from l’école de voile de Lachine is one that you sailed on. On sait jamais.

    Compared to my first launch, where I lost the bung and nearly sank, that was very slick.

      I almost did that when I launched my Contessa 26 for the first time. The crane guy noticed that I hadn’t put it in as they were lowering it.

      @@spirosailingtime Awesome I am in Brossard. I have been thinking about sail from Montreal to Toronto what is your view on that? Have you done that trip before?

    • @spirosailingtime
      @spirosailingtime  10 місяців тому

      @@robboss5144 I want to go from Toronto to Montreal. Or at least Kingston to Montreal. The only thing is that you can’t go through the Iroquois locks. There’s a 20’ minimum. You would have to get out there and trailer your boat to the other side. But it’s doable. Especially sailing through 1000 islands.

      I have a 22 foot Tanzer so I should be allowed through the locks right?@@spirosailingtime

      @@robboss5144 yes. I thought you had a cl16 like mine. Yes. Over 20’ with a motor you are good to go. And you can go back and forth. I was going to trailer my CL to Toronto and sail back to Montreal. Take advantage of the slight current.
