My number 1 dungeon theme in entire Zelda-series!!! I dunno... but when listening to this, it fits superiously well with these dungeons. They reek of creepy atmosphere and unknown danger, fit to give you lots of nervousness. Zelda-games these days compose very wel ldone themes for dungeons and palaces, but sadly they don't give this kind of feeling anymore. Maybe its the 8-bit charm at it's best.
My dad never could get enough of this game. He played this back in the day on the NES and played it all over again more recently on the NES Classic. Once a gamer, always a gamer. ;)

Playing Zelda for the first time at the age of 10 and making my way into that first dungeon, in that room where you could hear the boss roaring and the Wall Masters started popping up, that was the first and only time an NES game had SCARED me.
That dungeon music in the first Legend of Zelda game sure sounds amazing. I have that game on Nintendo Switch as Nintendo Switch Online, Mini NES and Legend of Zelda Game and Watch. This game including music 🎶 will never get too old and it will always be a timeless classic I love that classic NES game. It was released in 1986 four years before I was born.

I can really see how Chiptunes both drew on Western Music and was a great influence on Western Music as well possibly changing thematic and structural patterns when I hear this. Both how Chiptunes Influences Extreme Metal like Norwegian Black Metal in Europe,Hip Hop and RnB,and different forms of Western Art and Classical Music. I also see how it influenced the Soundtracks to Japanese and Korean Film and Television as well as well as The Gaming Soundtracks that follower and tbh Anime. I'm not even really a huge fan of gaming but the cultural influence is truly priceless and valuable.

@GBelair Gyigas' theme, not Porky Means Business. PMB is the metal song when you fight Porky right before Giygas. Giygas' theme is a creepy amalgamation of sounds.
You can almost hear Navi saying watch out, as a spike trap goes flying across towards you.. But no Navi, only Hmmph!! And a squeaky sound effect as a piece of your heart disappears, and you flash red..

Usually, I would not listen to music that makes me nervous, but I love Zelda and this is just epic. I could listen to this all day!
