AN EXTRAORDINARY BEGINNING!
Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten at Clear Water Academy introduce your child to the hands-on learning environment of Clear Water Academy from ages 4-6. We nurture socialization and classroom skills to spark curiosity and shepherd young learners into a structured school environment.
Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs invite students to build their knowledge and skills through collaborating with others, learning about:
Literacy and Numeracy
Students build literacy and numeracy skills throughout the year to prepare for elementary classes, attaining confidence in reading, printing, adding, and subtracting.
Social Development
Social skills flourish in a full-time classroom environment through one-on-one, small-group, and whole-group activities. Students practice following directions and active listening to demonstrate their care for others.
Orff Music Program
Our Orff Music program introduces the students to the fundamentals of music through singing, dancing, and playing instruments.
Dedicated Physical Education Program
Our Physical Education program in the Zoom Room encourages the development of locomotor skills through movement.
Spanish as a Second Language
We introduce hearing and speaking Spanish as a second language, which expands students' capacity for language processing.
Catechesis of the Good Shepard Program
The sacred St. Thomas More Hall Atrium is prepared for your child to explore and spend time with God, the Word, and specialized materials that link scripture with the liturgy. We foster enjoyment within the spiritual life to prepare students for a lifelong relationship with God and to begin their Integral Formation education in Elementary.
