Fantastic ride 👏 I did my first mountain ride from Alvor to Monchique via the back of the foia when I was there at Xmas - but what is the leg like from Monchique to Foia. It looks pretty brutal for an average cyclist ! Really enjoy the videos and hopefully might join a ride there one day.
Thank you!!! I consider myself an average cyclist and as always, it was hard first few times but now its pretty enjoyable :) I think the segment from monchique to foia its a lot easier than what we did that day (my second time doing it from north) The north approach its a bit more intense, especially last 3km. Steep and surface is far from perfect... But like I said before. From monchique to foia is important not to rush! Take your time/keep sustainable pace and you good!
Thanks Steve! I'm a big fan of Thomas! But he lives up north and he is a big fish compared to me😁 Maybe one day I'll be big enough to do some collaboration with him 🤜💥🤛 Have a great day 🤘
Yeah that area around Foia is perfect for 3/4 hour rides for riders on the near south coast. (Portimao) North of Foia nature is greener. From Marmelete its nice to descend to Selao and onwards to Sao Teotonio. It might be a sub 100km ride for you.
Looking good dude! Your climb is strong!
Thanks dude! That sweat was like tequila in my eyes :)

True story Sir 🤌
We usually go to sao teotonio then depending of feeling we go to selao/Marmelete and back or we push to alferce and then back home 💪
