Jaclyn Printz definitely don't say the thing about how everyone has it. show them that it's a necessity Like for p.e or exercising glasses are annoying. and it would be good bc you won't looses your contacts as easy as you can lose your glasses

13 is the perfect age to start wearing contacts. Youre old enough to handle the responsibility they come with. My son started in the 7th grade as well & not once did I have to ask him if he'd clean them properly.
Jaclyn Printz oh my god the struggles!!!!!!! My mom would not let me get contacts either. We had so many fights over it!! I wish you luck I know the struggles of having to wear glasses! The way I finally convinced my mom was by getting the eye doctor to explain to her that there are no actual true dangers to them! I'm a messy person so my mom thought I would get them dirty and my eyes would get a disease etc etc.
