- Floyd VB came in 2nd place on the 25th of June at the Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam's annual Nerd Slam. This is Floyd's poem 10 Ways to Cope With Being Sorted Into Hufflepuff on Pottermore
Love the poem... Hufflepuffs get all the fun apparently and I agree completely Badger's are freaking awesome. but I also want to steal this kids wardrobe... like seriously where does he get his clothes from, lol. xD
This is kid is like a Hank Green prodigy.

I'm a Ravenclaw and this is still so amazing.
I got sorted into Gryffindor and I am very happy with where I am at, though I would've loved being a Hufflepuff, my sister is one.
To cheer her up when she was sorted I told her, "Badgers are cool," "You get to live by the kitchen," and "Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders!" She now loves being in Hufflepuff and I'm going to show her this poem!
That last line shows Floyd has probably seen A Very Potter Musical. I am in love.
I had a feeling I would be sorted into Hufflepuff so I finally signed up for Pottermore before listening to the poem annnnd Yep I was sorted into HufflePuff I listened to the poem and Badger's are fucking awesome!
I was sorted into Ravenclaw on Pottermore but I've changed a lot and hearing this reaffirmed my idea that I am, in fact, a Hufflepuff (and proud). Honestly it's not just the cozy tea-drinking or even the stoner-ness. It's kindness and acceptance and love and as a self-proclaimed hippie, that's where I see myself.

Me: deletes my Pottermore account three times to retake the house quiz so I get slytherin.
Also me: gets sorted into hufflepuff, ravenclaw, and gryffindore

It's funny cause I decided to start over on Pottermore and was sorted into Hufflepuff .-. I was in Ravenclaw last time
I was sorted into Hufflepuff the first time I got sorted, and I was proud of it. I was disappointed after they redid the Pottermore site and I got sorted into Gryffindor. Not that have a problem with Gryffindors, but I am always will remain a Hufflepuff. And the new sorting quiz won't change my mind :P Besides, i always figured that if I wasn't a Hufflepuff, I'd be a Ravenclaw.
I was sorted only once into Hufflepuff, because I ended up being sorted into every house. I got more gryffindors though so I classify myself as one though I only want to be a slytherin to get closer to Snape xP... If I was a hufflepuff, I would feel a tiny bit less Peeves-ed

I was actually hoping for Hufflepuff because *obviously* it`s the best house. Unfortunately, I got Slytherin. =( A*sigh* At leas tit wasn't Gryffindor...
nice poem. As a poet, an artist of words, i'd think the use of language would have been higher. Call me old fashioned but using foul language seems to undermine the creative juices of the author and the poet. Good work, keep the creative juices flowing.
