Working on installing the Boaxel system for my girlfriend's closet and this video definitely helped me with some tips on how to make the process easier.
Having the shelving on the studs while you putting on the anchors and screws is a smart move.

Yes, we each have a bureau for those items. I try to get rid of stuff that hasn't been worn in the last year - it is very satisfying!

Does the top bar take any weight or is it just a guide?
This was fun to watch. About to install this in our master closet and I'm stocked. Unfortunately they didnt have the 31 inch shelves so will wait a week or 2 to see if they get more in. So annoying. And can you pls tell me what nails you used for this?
We used 1-1/4" wood screws (it's what we had on hand). It's always frustrating when they run out of product - that happened a couple weeks ago for us with a chair (everything was in stock except for the cover). Good luck with your master closet!
Hello! This looks amazing. I noticed you used anchors - were you able to screw any of the rails into studs? If not, how is the system holding up? Thank you!
In other Boaxel projects I was able to run a few of them right into a stud, however, I typically ended up using anchors depending on how everything lined up. All of the Boaxel projects that I have done have all held up wonderfully with no issues.
I am wondering in terms of the brackets do they fit the Rubbermaid or closetmaid rails system? Looking to buy just the baskets because they are significantly cheaper than the closetmaid baskets? Thanks.
I did my entire closet in my bedroom with Boaxel and love love it! It was my first time using power drill and leveler and all of that. No directions at all! At the end, I was super proud of myself! My next project is my pantry closet!!
It makes such a difference - your pantry closet is going to look great! I love how customizable it is.

Elfa has all of this same stuff that you can add freestanding feet to. No holes. Much more expensive even during 30% off sales.

It won't put any holes in the door which is nice and can store smaller clothing items (and you can take it with you when you leave).
Elfa does have a lot of neat options!
Hiya! I am wondering whether this system could be used to make a desk setup? Would it be possible to switch out one shelf for a deeper shelf do you think? Do they have special fixings on the shelves themselves?
Yes! They do sell a table top (LINNMON) and legs (504.487.38) that can connect to make a desk. If you use the Boaxel Planner on their site, the option is on the right hand corner.

@@buzzi2k They are about 15" deep and fit a laptop okay. I think you could use it as a small floating desk area!

Did you install it on a dry wall? Is it secure?
Yes, it was installed on drywall (with anchors) and I have never had an issue. You can drill right through the top horizontal bar if you would like it to be on a stud (that’s what we did for an IKEA Boaxel system that was installed in a garage that would be bearing A LOT of weight).

The drawers extend out 6 to 7 inches.

Yes, I do! We put it in a garage once and those shelves are holding A LOT of weight.
Where did you get the pants hanger from ? I couldn’t find one in the boaxel collection
I believe it was discontinued :( I just did a closet and was looking for the pants hanger as well.
I was at Ikea today and so excited to see this system! Any issue on the weight of clothes if they rails are not in a stud?
No issues! You can always drill your own holes in the horizontal rails if you would like them to line up with the studs (I drill a pilot hole right through the metal and drywall into the stud). I have been doing that with garage projects.

We have installed this system in five different spaces and have had zero issues thus far! The most recent one was in a garage which has some pretty heavy items on some of the shelves.

I don't think any of the horizontal rails lined up with studs for this project.
Is it works for panty heavy things 🤔🤔
It holds up very well for our heavier items.
