Hi, thanks for your really great job. Please do not stop it. Even with a fee or none comments, you have to know that you a contributing a lot. Thanks again for your great job.
Hello. First off, this is excellent work, filling out what I consider to be a big feature gap within Power BI. The biggest issue with this visual is the appearance though. It simply looks ugly, even compared to the Excel timeline slicer. I don't mean to put down great efforts that went into creating this, just pointing it out as a feedback, so that in the future, the design could be improved to make this visual more widely used. Thank you
First of all thank you for the video. I have a question that I hope I can explain well, and I hope it is possible in Power BI. Let's say I have a column that has a formula that returns a certain value, in this formula there are 2 date variables, and based on these 2 dates that can be changed, the formula will return a different answer. Is it possible that, when I use this timeline slicer, if or example I chose the duration as February 2020 - March 2021, is it possible that those 2 dates will be input in my formula in the query and it will change results from the formula in that column? I hope I explained it good enough. I really appreciate an answer. (I am a newbie in Power BI)
Thank you creating such great, in-depth videos. I'm using this to help my team look at what they are to be working on by week. The week view only shows the weeks number out of the year (i.e. W35). Do you know of a way to change that to show the specific dates at the week granularity? Thank you!

Hi, can you help me with a solution? When i select the Date Column, on the timeline visual it appears only the column name? What is the problem?
Is the date column stored as a true datetime value or is it text?
It is date value.
Problem solved. It was a version problem of Power BI. Now it's working.
