Honestly? I'm personally fine even if the upcoming calendar isn't the best. Because I only recently realized how much I love lps deer but don't have any of my own yet. And getting a handful of deer, even if they're squishy? Yes give me the deer. I'm a simple man.
I'm getting the G7 advent calendar for Christmas and I'm really, REALLY hoping any quality control issues get ironed out by the time the holiday season comes around :') I'm already planning on customizing the dalmatian, but I would love to keep the rest as they are. (Also, hot take, but I feel like G3 is not nearly as horrible as a lot of people treat it; we all just would've really liked to keep G2 forever LOL)
I got this set as a kid, loved it. I'm not a huge fan of the molds now but it was so much fun opening one everyday until christmas and getting all the accesoires. I still have them btw :)
im not sure what i think of the pets, i think the Chinchilla is cute, i like pink pets since pink is my favorite color, and the accessories are good, can be used for any gen.
Please dont be afraid to take a break if needed! Mental and physical always come first! We can and will wait! But, I got the new G7 advent calendar, my crouching cat has literal holes in her snout and ear. The panda had misprinted eyes, and the deer's are a recast mold so the legs are super swollen. The accessories are pretty good tho and the paint on most of them were nice. Just really sad about my cat :/

20:17 this I think is an alstrailian shepherd or some kind of herding breed, and the ears are flopping over both sides, it’s just hard to tell bc they are fluffy and are attached to the head hair
I actually had a few of those ice fishing accessories a long time ago, I wish I still had them in my collection. They got lost over the years. I think they came with the OG arctic pals set. 😊🐺
I’ve already received my LPS calendar in the mail, the quality is pretty decent compared to recent poor quality in the two packs etc. I am quite happy with the deer especially
@@LpsHoneyOfficial ~ Something else I thought about just now actually- The years on the bottom of the molds dont align deer are all 2024 panda is 2023 The Dalmatian is 2009 but the body and head seem to match more than previous white pets The baby polar bear has no date on it but the paint jobs on all pets are amazing EXCEPT for a small spot on the all pink deer. Seems some paint was smudged by packaging. All bobbles are decent or stiff but are better after some forced movement. This was a lot of info but it seemed very interesting and id love to know how your set will look. Sorry if this is too much 😅
i agree with the quality control stuff. i found 2 g7 wave 2 blind boxes at hobby lobby and they were the two in really wanted! (the wolf cat & seagull) but the wolf cat looks so wonky! the right eyelashes are way bigger than the left, the pet just looks really oily, and the eyes dont look like lps eyes at all! i was really dissapointed and i wonder if i were to get her at target the quality would be better! but yeah thats my little rant :3 love the content! And dw! if u need to take a break do it! breaks are needed in carers ESPECIALLY when it comes to mental health!

Theres only really a few good molds, but most of them are sort of spindly looking. The eyes don't help their case either.
