There is so much that is beautiful about the "nothing!" It's the nothing that makes it something! Just saying! 🤠 Give us that over stopping at "points of interest" with 100's of others any day of the week! On the plus side, welcome to beautiful SA, we hope to catch you on the road one day! 😊
I'm so glad that you came to my home state of WA as that's when I discovered your beautiful family on these WA videos and now I'll continue to watch on your travels. Thankyou for another great video and lots of love to your family ❤
Thank you so much, your comment really means a lot to us as after we have received quiet a few negative comments from WA locals. I think many people were offended when we mentioned that post took a while and that its windy alot of the time and takes a long time to get things fixed. We certainly meant no offence, and loved WA for its many many positives. So thanks so much for watching and joining us as we continue our travels, its great to have you here.
@SvedosTrippin Thankyou for the reply, when you come back to WA if you're ever in the Kalgoorlie goldfields area myself (Narelle) and hubby Mick would be more then happy to show you some gold prospecting in the beautiful bush here. Till then have safe and wonderful travels legends ❤️.
First time watcher & got to say I really enjoyed your content & informative exploration of things. Both of your children are beautifully mannered & respectful.
Hey Brett & Mel, loved your Nullarbor video. The free camps looked great - nice family time. Looking forward to seeing your SA adventures. Safe travels, see you next week. Lyn ❤
Such a shame you didn’t like the Nullarbor, personally I just love it, so interesting with the constant changes in scenery, the isolation and so much time to just tune out or do some thinking, oh well we are all different 🤷🏻♂️
@SvedosTrippin you missed Koondola very interesting were you's camped at Bunda cliff not far from there it's a abandoned station and there are lots and lots of old cars plus the house is mad out of railway sleepers you can camp there and there is drinking water to fill your van plus you missed the telegraph station plus the jetty and lots more
Loved it❣️Nullabor done & dusted! Shame about the bloody flies & wind. Sure is a long straight road! You saw lots of interesting POIs. Look out South Australia. The Svedos have arrived❣️ENJOY EXPLORING SA🥰
Hey guys, loved the vlog! 😊 I totally agree, the Nullarbor is one long stretch of pretty much nothing, with just a few points of interest here and there. I crossed it on a coach, travelling non-stop from Perth to Sydney over three days! It’s such a shame the Bunda Cliffs aren’t accessible anymore ☹️. Looking forward to the next vlog! Take care and stay safe. Kind regards Corrie
Hey Brett, Mel ad the kids. your video is entertaining as usual. Loved the Pizza Pocket segment where the kids put there 2 cents worth in. The Nullarbor is quite boring, but you made it interesting. as usual, drive carefully and keep safe
90 mile straight road I’d treat that as a massive adventure….here in the uk every 90 yards there’s traffic lights 😂 awesome video guys thanks for sharing 🤗 safe travels!
Hahaha, yeah, not a traffic light for the last 1300km, and I think it will be another 400km before we find one. Thanks for watching from all the way over in the UK.
Wow how many times did you say boring?? I am surprised you found that crossing boring especially as you don’t cover big distances each day giving you time to explore. We love anything remote and being in nature. Hope you find some things that excite you further down the road. Look forward to seeing where you go next as SA is awesome especially if you like deserts etc.
I think we were just playing on the words Nullarbor and boring. Overall we really enjoyed our crossing and free camps along the way. It's just the long drives that can be taxing.
Hi ya that were my grandparents would of got fuel when he retired they took a drive to QLD in a VW Beatle and camped in a tent on camp beds I know it was all dirt around the early 60s
We love watching you and we're starting our trip in 6 months. We've got the same ute and are adding a tray and aluminium canopy similar to yours. Does the canopy get very hot inside in hot weather? Is this a problem for fridges? Do you have vents or a fan for this problem? Thanks.
When I was a kid I thought that Nullarbor was an aboriginal word. It wasn’t until I was an adult that the obvious dawned - that it was a combination of two Latin words Nullus -none and Arbor-tree thus ‘no trees’.
It does have an indigenous vibe to it, the word nullabor that is. But yes, we eventually found the treeless plain and it was a sight to behold for sure.
Our society is sick ,why people just let government take away our freedom but by bit to now every aspect of our lives are rules and governed with a threat of fine or worse- bunda cliffs closed for safety reasons FFS it’s our life and if people want to be stupid and walk to close and fall in it’s their choice ,just like if I want to go and jump in a fire it’s my choice and government can piss off- shattered I won’t be able to take our family to experience camping at bunda - Come on Australia wake up - It Sucks to loose more & more freedoms - our kids won’t be able to travel like this free camps will be over through greed and Nanny state nonsense and will be too expensive for the plebs
Wow. So overly dramatic and negative. We’re all still travelling and going to amazing places. Rather than complaining about where you can’t go (you actually still can see the Bunda Cliffs), maybe be a good example for your kids and stay positive. Maybe you might enjoy it all more. We still live in the lucky country. 😊
It's irrelevant whether "people want to be stupid" or not. Emergency Services personnel still need to put effort and time into responding and that is funded by taxpayers. Have you used a school, an ambulance, a hospital or a motorway? You can thank the Government for that.
@@lazzasamuels3722 yeah and we pay for it and provide jobs for them - by the way you think let’s all just stay home in cotton wool right - Enjoy your taxes fines bills and less and less freedom and let you kids thank you in 20-30years when they are dominated and forbidden to do anything - so supud
You’ve done a big injustice to one of the country’s best places. Disappointed with your repetitive ‘boring’ commentary. Usually line your stuff, but not this one.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I think we were just playing off the play on words with Nullarbor and bore. Personaly I enjoyed my trip across the Nullarbor and I thought I mentioned that several times, its just a long drive to do which can be taxing.
Oh, get a grip on yourself, you grumpy misogynist. Mel is a champion mother, works a full-time job on the road (not that any of that is shown). Mel is not some paid actress ...
ahhh... We filled in Norseman, then topped off again at Cocklebiddy. Then made it to Ceduna before needing fuel again, thanks to our new long range tank, it came in handy. Only 1.79 in Norseman and Ceduna, and was like 2.10 at cocklebiddy but we only needed 80 litres or so. So fuel wasn't to expensive for our crossing.
they are good prices...last time I filled up at Nullarbor Roadhouse it was $3.20/lt...that was approx. 1 year ago. Convinced me to add an addition 150 Litre diesel tank to my mobile home. 🙂
@kadachiman7234 oh yeah, the Nullarbor roadhouse was nearly $3 too, no idea why anyone would fill there when every other station is $1 or more cheaper.
"Nulla boring" translates to "Not boring".
Its absolutely an amazing place.
@@MiniLuv-1984 we agree. But alot of driving to cross it.

Yes, the isolation and seclusion make it amazing. I loved the secluded free camps and quality family time.
I'm so glad that you came to my home state of WA as that's when I discovered your beautiful family on these WA videos and now I'll continue to watch on your travels. Thankyou for another great video and lots of love to your family ❤

nice one mate. Was a weird release time so you did well. I messed up the scheduling on this one haha.
@@SvedosTrippin was thinking the same thing but all good👍
Great video…. We just got back from school holiday trip to the Yorkes and the flies there were horrendous for the first few days. 🇦🇺

I wouldn't say we didn't like it, was just alot of driving but I really enjoyed it, especially all the fires and family time in total isolation.

You can still visit and see the cliffs, you just can’t camp there.

Hi guys.
Turns out we are now just camped not far up the beach from you.
Going for a night fish tonight.
The beach looks great for big fish hey
@DamianCollisson will have to to stop from sweating so much 😅
Great vid as always guys! Bet you’re excited to spend some time outside WA!!
We sure are, 1.5 years in WA is a long time.
Lov'n the videos. In travelling SA be aware of the deer and wombats. We had a couple of near misses. ❤
