i own a 2017 Kia Cetato base variant, so i guess been having it for 4 years, got mine for almost $80k, and well as he said, its a good family car and nice to drive. and seem the engine is mostly the same (as used here and as used in elantra) so parts are shared across platform, and any one can service it. Among the facelit (i believe this is the 3rd one since 2017) and i feel this is the best looking one.

I must say the Cerato exceeds all expectations for this price except for its engine performance but like he said… if you go for this class… dun talk abt performance.
If your budget allows, the family sedan better choice would be the Skoda Octavia mild hybrid.. better engine, performance and interior from the VW group family.
Engine and gearbox from 2010 it's so strange that they rather focus on design and totally neglect the heart of the car. Also, hidden exhaust is not a plus at all given the sporty pretentions.

@@MrOng7474 during rush hour, traffic is often slow moving and is stop and go. There are so many lanes that allow the driver to either go straight or turn. The indicator lights at bumper level just don't make sense as it's often blocked.

Nice headlights… LED… but do note that if spoil, replace cost very expensive. I paid $400-$500 for 1 side Day Running Light of my 2013 Kia K5… I cant imagine how much to replace this LED headlight if 1 side is spoil after warranty. Electronic handbrake knob? I spend $200+ to change after the knob broke. 😀 Most of these features already have in 2013 K5.. 😀
Led also got different gen... Imagine those dot dot dot ones which were started by cars like audi a4 last time compare to the current continuous type now...really very diff looking...

As Kia, recent years became one of the most affordable and value for money that All the technology features included compared other competitor and Space provided. Con: No hybrid or mild hydrid till date (will really appreciate for hybrid as improve in pick up speed, noise and fuel) No driver back magazine holder(agreed) Air con not as strong as Toyota. Wish list for the next redesign spec: Included the con above. Wireless android auto Suspension upgrade. Will buy for the next redesign that wish list included. Kudos to Kia.

Unfortunately most of the $100k goes to taxes in Singapore. The car’s retail price is closer to $20k in other markets.
