Ray Kennedy shouldn't have been sold, but Kennedy wanted to win more things and that's why Liverpool signed him, forty-three years ago from the Gunners. As an Arsenal fan, Kennedy and John Radford form a great strike force and when we won the Doubles, forty-six years ago, he couldn't stop scoring and he was top scorer during our Doubles success, forty-six years ago.Kennedy was a midfielder for Liverpool, but with the Gunners was a striker.
Bob Paisley created this player in midfield.at Liverpool. He was a better player on the left midfield than Trevor Brooking sadly though he never got many Caps for England because Ron Greenwood in the 70's was an ex West Ham manager managing England and Brooking a West Ham player at the time. RIP Ray.
One of those players who made football look easy. Majestic on the ball & a shot like a mule. RIP.
A true Liverpool legend who will never be forgotten.
Just ask Jimmy Case 😉😉
