Moved from Fresno, Ca to Florida by driving, can confirm Albuquerque was by far the shittiest city I step foot in. Most crime+only hotel that had bedbugs. The truck depot motel in Alexandria, LA didn't have bed bugs.
Many people in Fresno say to leave as if it's the worst place, but it's only because wealthier, middle-class Clovis people like to compare their small town to one of the largest cities in California. There's worsier environments to grow up in obviously.
There's also a park there called KIMO Park. It looks straight out of a horror flick or bad dream. This place is soo bad, no one is allowed in. They put chain link fence around it, and it's permanently closed. It makes a graveyard look like a happy place

Flagstaff on the other hand had a kick ass diner, and the outdoors which is very cool.
