I watched that PPV Tyson v. Holyfield fight with my grandpa.... When Tyson spit the ear out I will never forget his words... "What the hell was that?"
    RIP grandpa.

    • @YuckFouTubeX
      @YuckFouTubeX 21 день тому +5

I watched that with my grandfather as well, he was so upset about Holyfield headbutting Tyson over and over again and got up shouting "YEAAAAH!" when Tyson finally bit him as a retort, then as they had a poll on the news "Would you forgive Tyson" the first moment a hundred percent of the people stated that they would never forgive him, then on the final results it turns out ninety three percent voted to forgive him. It was a weird day, my mother was mad asking "Why would they forgive him?"

Watched it live with my dad. He caught the bite before I did. We were both so confused. We'd ordered pizza and everything but the fight was over in like ten minutes (I mean, to be fair, that's what we expected from a Tyson match, lol).

As a Norwegian born in Chile I remember hearing a lot about the world cup in where the Chilean team were losing, so they staged an "accident" in where some someone in the audience would launch fireworks close to the the Chilean keeper while the keeper then did lie down on the ground cutting himself with a blade, I am proud of my nation of birth, but that has to be the absolutely worst and most dishonorable act in sports

Hitting, punching, kicking, headbutts, even biting .. it can all be considered poor sportsmanship and fines and suspensions are a part of those. But any "athlete" that chooses to spit at someone else should be kicked out of the league, fined, and slapped by his/her own mother in public. That's beyond gross and disrespectful.

Thanks for the compilation above, WatchMojo. At 21:43 (No. 5, that is), the 2006 Soccer World Cup final between Italy and France, that is, and the headbutt by France's Zinedine Zidane on Italy's Marco Materazzi, one version of the incident has it that Marco Materazzi pulled on Zinedine Zidane shirt when a free kick was being taken, and when the referee was not looking. Zidane responded by asking Materazzi whether, he, Materazzi, desired his shirt that badly. Materazzi responded to Zidane by telling Zidane, that no, he did desire Zidane's shirt, that what he actually desired was Zidane's sister. It was then that Zidane turned round and headbutted Materazzi on his chest.
The verbal exchange was said to have been in Italian, Italian Zidane learnt when he played in the Italian Soccer League known as "Serie A."

The consequences of the attack initially was a complete ban for the rest of the season. His team...Detroit Tigers...was going to forfeit every game until their teammate was reinstated. The league threatened to install a substantial fine for every game they didn't play. Eventually, the league gave in and reinstated Cobb.

They dont show the 2 head buts though. Mike was only cut in one fight, I can remember. This one. They wont talk about that, will they.

How nonchalant jack was about paralyzing derrick after tackling him was wild to me. Its true thats always a possibility playing football especially back then. But deliberately trying to hurt somebody, then brush it off peak disrespect.

Correction: Don Zimmer tried to attack and punch Pedro. And Pedro just helped him to the ground instead of punching back and hitting back

This would have been a really nice list had it not had all the same entries as in every single other of your list, it's weird that such a good channel punishes it's most loyal watchers by repeating itself so much, please stop making your lists so much bigger each time and start making them better

Not a Mayweather fan at all, but dude Ortiz really was headbutting him the whole fight, and it's "defend yourself at all times"

Ikr. Never mind that right before this Ortiz PURPOSELY headbutted Floyd drawing blood from his mouth. Never mind the ref gave the signal to continue fighting which is exactly what Floyd did. People’s dislike is all you need to know for why Ortiz gets a pass and Floyd gets the spotlight.

I remember after the Moore thing happened the hockey group at my old work were defending Bertuzzi saying that he had it coming after what he did to Nasland. Even though he already fought for it earlier in the game. Bunch of idiots I use to work with.

Here's a disrespectful moment from motorsport. In a NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol in August 1999, Terry Labonte took the lead from Dale Earnhardt going into the last lap. Byt rather than try and repass Labante cleanly, Earnhardt instead spun out Labonte in front of the field. Earnhardt went on to win, Labonte limped home 8th. Not only was Labonte understandably livid with Earnhardt, but so was the 140,000 people in the crowd, who showered Earnhardt with a chorus of boos. All Earnhardt could do in response was to sheepishly say thay he tried to rattle Labonte's cage, not meaning to spin him out. Despite the display of disrespect, and the overwhelming amount of negative responses from the crowd, Earnhardt wasn't penalised by NASCAR

The black socks is an example of how you should always at least pay your players a decent wage. It's noted that at the time, they weren't paid a lot even for professional athletes and couldn't even be traded to other teams. Although I have no clue how much they would have made back then, that sort of a way to stick it to the owner. It's not the best way, but it at least add a small bit of justification despite it not being a good thing.

Cantona was always a very exentric player. He once called the French National Team Coach a "sack full of crap". But in the shown Moment the fan alledgedly screamed racist remarks at Cantona. After some years where he got interviewed about that incident if he feels any regret, he simply said:"yes, I should've kicked him harder.
