I paint tractors and other equipment here in Ashgrove Missouri, I charge 25 to 40 per hour. On average it usually takes 40 plus hours to get them done.
Great video Rich !! The beast looks (on my laptop, to be brand new. I do have one question, why did you use Bobcat (brand) paint rather than a rust preventing DTM from your local industrial paint jobber?
How many hours did you have total. I apologize if you mentioned it somewhere and I didn't notice. How much per hour is reasonable to expect to pay someone. What were the paint costs?
+Vincent Barango Thinking back I think I had about 25 hours into it. $50-80 would be reasonable. Paint was a few hundred bucks but I would not go to the original dealer to buy paint or decal kits. My parts supplier matches paint perfect for almost half of what some companies (JD, Cat etc.) charge. My decal guy can also print any sticker and has generic safety stickers that finish it off nice. It was $70 for all the decals. You can spend as little or as much on a paint job as you want but this is just a piece of construction equipment, not a car. I went hour for hour for the time it took to do the garage floor as a trade. Check out the finished floor in the video "how to add color and character to your garage"
Where did he get the skid loader from? Lol. Has the company that i work for name on it! House lifting! Interesting! We haven't used those skidloaders in 6+ years
Three hundred nineteen thousand subscribers, Yeah damn shame not more views but rome wasn't built in one day. I love our Canadian people of the north. You have die hard brits and americans alike that keep the two countries from forming one large one but were it put to a vote to merge I would vote for it. Great country with some hellassuis good fighters
This is a good job. But It really dont show how much work it takes to do this kind of job . ppl will watch this and think ohh thats easy .. fyi IT'S NOT .. so be carefull b4 u jump into it ..
and because we live in Canada... Love our brothers and sisters to the South but I think I would have got some questionable looks if I out an American flag back on!
bobcat is an all american company, they are made in north Dakota, the parent company, doosan infracore, is korean, this is not the way to paint a bobcat, most of that paint will just peel right up because of the rust under it
Had a t300 when I worked on a ranch that the Mexicans would drive around full throttle loaded down with hay or in the mountains fixing fence, usually with barely any hydraulic fluid, never had an issue
Totally not a professional job...machine should have been dismantled and sandblasted....orbital sanding is for smooth automotive surfaces. These machine has deep Nicks and gouges that sanding will not removed. I guess you get what you pay for. The guy should have to taken his bobcat to a professional or at least a shop.
Its not a car. It will head straight to the job site and get scratched by days end. This is an economical way to look professional while not going broke. If you want professional, check out our 48 fleetmaster build or the 67 GTO on our channel

Hey DB wd40 takes sticker off really good
I run a credit card through a knife sharpener and razor them off after heating the decals with a gun or hairdryer. Or use plastic razor blades.
holy shit thats a game changer
good job man

you didn't put the American flag back on. that's ok though since bobcat is a korean company.

Bob cat is made in North Dakota USA not korea
+Drew Tibert I didn't say bobcats weren't built in the USA. I was just saying bobcat is owned by a Korean company now, Doosan.
+david senne that though is correct
@@genghiskhan2012 grow a pair and stop bitching damn
Impressive....
You should've used a heat gun or Easy Off oven degreaser.
U did good : )

DAMM!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
if bobcats were boats they would be named bayliner
What the hell how to paint? you mean how to edit not one spray shot not one. what a waste of time
