Will Rahul Gandhi use Wayanad only as backup… BJP’s Shehzad Poonawalla over Amethi suspense
While speaking about the suspense over Congress’ decision regarding Rahul Gandhi’s candidacy from Amethi, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla mocked the Congress leader and questioned if he will use Wayanad as only a backup.
He said, “The mother has left Rae Barelli. Sister has become a paheli. What Rahulji couldn’t do. Jijaji Robert Vadra is willing to. He has already said that he is ready to fight from Amethi. Still, Rahul Gandhi who has been MP from Amethi is unable to declare his candidacy. We have seen how North Indians and specially people of Amethi have been abused by Rahul Gandhi, DMK and other leaders. Therefore they feel it is completely unsafe ground for him to fight from Amethi. But why aren’t these decisions made whether Rahul Gandhi will fight from one seat, two seats or three seats before the elections in Kerala took place. Is this not a fraud on the people of Kerala? They have not been informed whether Rahul Gandhi will only use them as backup?”
