I was on my feet from round 1. This kind of fight is why I love the lighter weight fights. Just amazing. Thank you guys 💪

A match where the score doesn't tell the full story. Amazing burner.

Palko had the arm, back, and heart to make this match a battle, but Sanders had the height and the hand-and-wrist dominance the entire time, so it was his the entire time. If this was WAF with no running fouls (and Sanders wasn't more careful), then the elbows perhaps would have had Sanders in foul trouble/loss on fouls. What a war?!

UA-cam algorithm boosting comment 💪 ... oh, someone who is super fast must not be able to do much once stopped, right? must favor the slower puller to grind it out 🤔 doesn't always go like u think 😳 amazing

Just start in reffs grip 😂 so much wasted time gripping up. Great 1st round 👏

They have the option to do that if they both want to, as well as starting in straps. There's plenty of potential reasons to not do either of those things.

@Siberius- I think in real time it doesn't seem so long but honest when watching I just want them too come too the table lock hands and have a 10sec timer go off, 20sec at most. People lose interest so fast, you gotta almost cut and clip the stalled out moments. Or fill in the gap with replays 🤷‍♂️

@@Halogodphill3 - Unless there's gripping antics at the table, I'm blasting through any downtime with 5-second skip-aheads and holding down the space bar for 2x speed lol. Also have a chrome extension that hides the length of the video and where I am in the video to prevent spoilers (UA-cam DeSoiler).
For East vs West, Engin cuts out the downtime for the dedicated East vs West channel, then the uncut footage goes on his own channel, which is pretty cool.
Arm Wars is all about the story though, so any "downtime" is used for context and story-building. Which can be great, but then also sometimes there's just not a whole lot of story going on or context that is all that interesting. This video says "short film version", so there seems to be less commentary, but still a film; making it stuck in a limbo of sorts for me.

I agree. That's one of the things armwrestling organizations need to work on as the sport becomes more mainstream: pacing. It's hard for a casual to watch a 5+ hour event and get into the sport. Start in ref's grip and maximum 2 fouls per round. When King of the Table does 3 fouls, some of those matches are excruciating to watch.

@SPRVLN27 I agree with that as well! They have all the potential too blow the sport up big time! Like half time super bowl should be sick too see 2 super heavyweight beast battle it out.

What is Craig's normal competition weight?

    • @jobidden2073

75kg: WAF silver medalist in 2002 and made the podium multiple years ahead of guys like Engin Terzi and Janis Amolins.... Obviously he's well past his prime now and pulls Armwars because he's still pretty fkin strong!
