This is probably quite overstated by now, but it really is fantastic to see more episodes that are not one-offs. I miss sitting down every few days to watch the 100-and-something episode of whatever game they were playing then and just having somewhere to return to. Pizza Tower wouldn't be that long of a series if they decide to finish it, but it would be very nice to feel that way again, even for just a short while.
don´t worry man, for sure danganronppa 3 is coming.
I'm also hoping for dangonrompa 3 to fill that void

@@wangledteb5671 Elden Ring probably won't happen unless Arin plans on beating it at home himself first. It's far too long and too hard to do blind in let's play format I feel. It took forever and lots of off screen playing just for Arin to get to where he is, which is not very far at all unless he plans on skipping the MAJOR sidequests (like Ranni's quest line, or the Haligtree) and the game only gets harder and more likely to get lost in past where he is.
I think he also realized that Elden Ring's style of open world wasn't the best for a blind let's play. With experience under his belt he might come back to it then. Hour long episodes would also help because an average to slightly below average player can't get jack shit done in half an hour in that absolute unit of a game even if they already know where they're going and don't have to put on a show at the same time. Speaking from experience as a below average player lol. My first playthrough of the game I had to be like level 200 to beat the final boss and I needed a level 10 Dung Eater spirit to handle Malenia. (after like 30 tries)
Watching Arin expertly avoid the health and run straight into to enemies. Chef's kiss.
Now that he's discovered the frantic pace of pizza tower, constantly holding down the mach run button/trigger when he doesn't need it is SUCH an Arin move.
I was about ready to rip my hair out with how often he did it
the pepper level seems to almost be designed to beat that habit of running out of new pizza tower players. pretty much everyone learns to stop running all the time when that level mercilessly beats it out of you, like we saw here.
It's weird how he says he understands to hit the boss when he's blinking, but he's constantly running straight into him when he's not.

Imagine my disappointment when i discovered that Klondike closed years after moving away. Thank you so much! Will be sure to visit camping stores next time I'm in north America!

Watching Arin enjoy this and collapse into laughter is like watching Dan play Space quest or other Sierra Games, someday I hope they do Quest for Glory... Although it is a bit longer than the other Sierra Games.

Agreed, when this came out I was wondering "Will Game Grumps name a series of this like Mario Maker but but as long? Or play til the end?" so it's satisfying seeing this series develop and hope it continues.

Arin trying to mach run during the whole boss fight for like 3-4 fights killed me
Ima give you a hint that will make things way easier, Arin: You don't have to bum rush everything from the other end of the screen. The grab dash doubles as a Lvl 1 shoulder bash against bosses and obstacles, and you can break iron blocks in the floor by jumping from a higher position and ground pounding for a Lvl 2 body slam. You can also overcome most of the first half of a level by simply walking through it and taking your time.
I love how Arin got extremely better (still not good) at the Pepperman Boss as soon as he stopped holding the run button for the entire fight.

Arin going "Did I fuck up why did his health come back" after going to phase 2 of the boss when everything on the screen changed *and then* doubling down when Dan points it out to him, *and then* noticing that there was an attack pattern *and then* getting hit by it anyways, *and then* also not noticing it was faster during phase 2, is such an arin moment. 12 years later, Arin is still baffled by basic game design. Marvelous brain.

I can’t help but notice that Peppino is wearing his pink outfit, which is unlocked by taunting 50 times, at the beginning of the episode, yet Arin and Dan never really acknowledged it or pointed it out. Regardless of that, I’m glad they followed up on Pizza Tower; I get the feeling they were intending the first video to be a one-off, not realizing or expecting how popular the game and videos about the game would be. I sincerely hope they continue to play Pizza Tower, things only get better and more crazy from here.

Freeze dried ice cream is actually pretty good. I suppose it starts off as a piece of puffy powdered milk, but it just melts in your mouth. It's not just a novelty either. I've found it with the camping supplies at Walmart.

And you collect money to pay Mr. Stick to access boss gates to get keys to ascend the tower
As much as I love that they're playing pizza tower, it really baffles me sometimes how bad arin can be at platformers

Arin not realizing you don't have to run fast in the pepperman battle infuriated me to the point I had to see how long it would take for him to realize this episode.
