Child's Play 2 (1990) - Re-Scored Alternate Ending

- Using the track "End Credits" from the recently released Child's Play 2 Soundtrack by Graeme Revell, I have re-worked the sound effects and score from the original alternate ending. It is unclear whether this track was intended to be the original score for the sequence, but it ended up fitting nicely. Enjoy!
Amazing what a better ending. Its already the best child's play but that makes it all the more better.

No way. Every Child's Play / Of Chucky movie ends with a hint of him coming back and foreboding music. CHiLD'S PLAY 2 was the ONLY movie of the entire franchise where the theatrical ending ended on a high and victorious note, the music was victorious and Andy and Kyle walking off into the morning sun into the unknown to begin their new future is much better than this alternative, when the alternative is not needed as it conflicts with the opening of CHiLD'S PLAY 3 where it explains and shows how he's remade anyway.
Yeah, this is significantly better. Shame this wasn't in the theatrical cut. Or any other cut except the USA version. It's so much better.

It also allows people walking out wonder "How is he gonna come back this time?" until the next movie answers that. I always hate the sequel-bate endings that always makes me rolls my eyes. Also Chucky screaming when he realizes everything is starting all over again is more fit to his character IMO, he wouldn't want to be back in it. Also, the blood mixing with the plastic during the credits is visually stunning yet horrific.
Damn that would have been a badass ending honesty!

Basically what happened in the child's play 2 novelisation.
The face began to form a grotesque smile then the face relaxed patient ready to wait . For the rest of its body for its new eyes for its new life.
Universal could have had a solid third movie, but they pushed Mancini into writing a mediocre movie that he was already burned out on, giving us a subpar movie with a horrible recast instead of bringing back Alex Vincent, who by that point WAS Andy Barclay to the fans.

Yeah they made him crank that movie out in like 8 months which is absolutely ridiculous. Should’ve been at least a full year! I still like the movie though lol.

They think that he’s alive still so that’s why they deleted this ending because he supposed to come back to life and child’s play three not in Charles play to otherwise he would’ve been still chasing Andy and Kia

Makes more sense then the third films opening why couldn't they reuse this footage instead of just having this as a TV exclusive scene
And yes I do know that the original plan was to have multiple Chuckys but after the decision was made to only have one why couldn't they change the opening and reuse this footage
But if they used this ending chucky would have been brought back in a mater of hours not 8 years like the third movie so Andy whould not have as many recourses to take him down like in the third film and also Kyle whould also not have any alot more than Andy surely but not enough experience with him to know his tactics she lost her dagger to chucky in his melted corpse so she'd have no weapon against him so yeah that's probably why they didn't use this ending
