I bought this years ago, o haven't used it im a longbtime as one of the batteries leaked and damaged the power contacts, but its probably an easy fix, I might have a go at repairing it. The collest thing about this robot i always thought was it's ability to pick itself up, if it fell on it's back, I never seen that in the video, it was amazing the first time i watched it arise 👍
Just a heads up! These robots are known for having faulty wiring in the legs that will cause them to short out and potentially catch on fire. The only models know not to have this issue are those that were made in the UK, as well as the black/Silver and PEARL (not matte finish) White American model. This could be why the batteries leaked in yours. there’s a lot of really good information regarding this issue online. if you’re interested in getting that fixed, I can point you in the right direction. Head over to @Zorua635 on UA-cam, he’s been repairing them for years and does it for customers as well.
Hey man I was wondering if you or anyone you know has an extra Blue V2 foot I could have? I’m willing to buy… Unfortunately the one I have apparently has a brittle foot and it cracked when I tried unscrewing it… Strangely enough the rest of the shell is fine…
@@CyberDreZ I don’t want another V2, just a foot plate… I could even have half of the foot plate… I’d be willing to pay $30 for that… I’m only seventeen and am unemployed so I can’t even afford another V2 right now…

@@CyberDreZ I did, but he said he doesn’t have any… I think he stopped replying to me because I didn’t want to buy a board from him so I guess he’s just trying to make money off me I don’t really know 😂 I’m an engineer and technician so I don’t really need him to rewire it I just wanted to ask him questions of certain things that only a person with a lot of these lying around and a lot of experience would know… I did ask him if he might have some in the future and he hasn’t responded… Little irritating…

Honestly these days V2s have gotten few and far between. Best bet is to watch EBay and join a few FB groups

@@CyberDreZ also this was a sealed V2 I’d just unboxed and I needed to fix his wiring… He’s definitely a rare bird and worth fixing…
