Looking good. I agree with your therapeutic reference. I have 3 tanks running and I actually enjoy performing the maintenance on them as well as just sitting back and watching the life forms.
Little scary buying from these guys. I just purchased an NYOS 120 skimmer from them, and it looks like it was returned to them or had a lot of issues with it. I usually go to another store, but I thought I would give them a little business. They are good on small ticket items, but for anything more than 100.00, I can only say buyer beware. Sending my skimmer back from them...JUNK!
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I'm sorry we can't open each product and QC what the manufactures sends us. Sometimes products have issues directly from the manufacture.
This is a great series. I'd be worried about the cleaner wrasse jumping out through opening you removed for the light brackets. It's happened to me more than one. Dried fish stick on the floor😅
Hey Jimmy glad you're loving it so far. Just friendly suggestion based off video. You might check the minimum water level on your heater cause it looks to be out of the water.
@@jimmynewbiereefer also put a bit more carbon in the reactor so the sponge at the top is compressed a little, this will stop the carbon tumbling and grinding up into a dust that will pass through the sponge. It will also mean you can run any water flow rate you want through it.
Great job Jimmy tanks really coming on. You dont always need to know everything you just need to enjoy the journey 🙂 I agree you could definitely have your own channel your a great presenter
I am getting ready to start salt water aquarium again. Had one years ago, about 20 plus. I am doing fish only. Trying to figure out which I should use for substrate, crushed coral or sand. Any thoughts and suggestions and the type of which ones. Thanks
Your tank is cool my friend. Your doing a great job . I had tropical fish for years . Then started the marine tank in March 2022. You learn every day on this hobby. Keep up the good work from Scotland 🏴.
