How to History Bound the Civil War Era

I love 1860’s style! I have historybounded that era before. I used a black calf length skirt that was on the fuller side and tucked a long sleeve black T-shirt into it. I made myself a couple of Sontags and put one of them on. Because the Sontag covers the top, it doesn’t matter that it is just a long sleeve T-shirt because no one can see it. I also made myself a snood and I put all of my hair into it with a middle part. Sontags and snoods were popular during the 1860’s. You can see them worn a lot in photos from that era. I would definitely recommend getting a Sontag and snood for anyone who wants to historybound 1860’s for cooler weather.
