Not surprising, she has to go all in on the 100m! Lanae-Tava Thomas who was likely heading into JAM Trials targeting just a 200m spot might as well jump into both 100/200m events given the current landscape with the Big 3 & Lyston! McKenzie Long, Dina, Sha'Carri & Favour Ofili in addition to Julien will all be a 'factor' for that 200m Bronze given a fit & in-form Shericka & Gabby.
Bri Lyston is out of @trials ...Lanae-Tava will concentrate on the 200 Cant see her getting anywhere near @10.8's the only three left that can are Natasha Shasalee and Tina Clayton .
@@jonepic8100 I know Lyston is out, I'm alluding to that fact! There's absolutely no guarantee that ALL or ANY of the Big 3 will run 10.8 or quicker in just over 10 days time from what I've seen from them this yr! Elaine could very easily struggle to barely run under 11.1 @Trials (like last yr) as someone else takes that 3rd spot with a high 10.9 esp as none of the 3 you mentioned have run under 11.05 this yr! Lanae-Tava practically has a spot in the 200m, has nothing to lose in trying to get a 100m spot as well as there's nothing to be afraid of!

@@jonepic8100 What is this obsession with Lanae & 10.8?! 2nd & 3rd last yr @Trials was run in 10.96 & 10.98! Even if Shericka & Shelly run 10.8 or quicker, 3rd place is not running 10.8 as well, will be run in 10.9 at most which gives everyone else inc Lanae a chance!

I think she should sit this out, trials and all... take the time to recover and train properly to try and get at least a solid 2 years leading up to the next and what could be her last Olympic... but I doubt contractual obligations gonna allow that...
