I recently bought the is350 f sport 2015 (same color and same interior) about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Reviews like that help a lot! I was thinking in doing one but you cover everything that I was going to say. Good job and nice car man!
@@exploringwithjoanne8187 Congrats!!! I know how exciting that must have been for you. I should have mine by the end of this year it would make the perfect Christmas gift to myself. I found one with 43k Miles for a really good price. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for yours?
@@exploringwithjoanne8187 it's a 250 with the same color combo for 19K with a clean carfax.. I couldn't believe my eyes. Only thing is I wish it was awd.
Such a beauty! I sat in one at the LA Auto Show last year & would be by far my next car of choice if I upgraded to a Lexus. I'm sticking with my current black on black 2015 Toyota Camry XSE V6 for now (paid off with only 24k miles), but would consider upgrading someday. I would get one in black with the red leather. My family has owned many Toyota's & Lexus's over the years & they've been problem free.
Thanks for a great review. The red interior is nice but should have been broken up with some black. I had a grey 2016 Lexus ct200 with the red interior and the back of the seats was black which gave it a much better contrast. Will hopefully come back to Lexus !
Nice car! You should look into different brake pads ,of course when the stock ones are ready to be changed, because different brake pads can lessen the brake dust.
Thanks for the vid. Thinking about picking one up or the RC. As for the brakes.. Get some new pads. On my old G35/brembos, with stock pads were horrible. Forgot what I upgraded to but it was night and day for just a pad difference.
You could change to ceramic brake pads but you either need new rotors to do it. The thing is that this kind of brake pads for sports sedans comes with high carbon concentrations to dissipate heat faster and easy then your rotors last more and you got a high efficient brakes
What year is this vehicle? Does it have lane assist? I'm shopping for a 2015 now but can't find one with auto follow, lane assist, auto stop etc. Good review. Thanks
I don't even mind the brake dust. I don't care if it gets dirty quickly, I love the white. I think it's the nicest color for this car. However, I also want a black interior. I'm not into red interiors, even though the red stitching is awesome. I'm having a bit of trouble finding white ones with the black interior. I've seen a couple with the black interior, but they were 250s. It feels like everyone with the 350 either picks the white that only comes with a red interior, or picks the darker red interior.
I just got the 2016 model. Everything looks the same from your video. I love the white on red but if only the front was red and black on the back side. That would be nice...
Do not use caliper covers to keep the dust down. You will overheat brakes with the covers. Instead change brake pads to the Akebono premier brake pads that have less dust and the dust isn't as black as the f sport brake pads.
Not sure how tall you are but how is the room overall in the car? Would it be comfortable for people over 6 ft tall? I have zero lexus dealers within 200 miles of where I live so it's hard to find one in person to look at.
There's a Lexus dealership selling me this vehicle, same color but black interior. It has $185,150 miles and they selling it to me for $15,500 cash offer. Is it overpriced? Should I not buy it because of the mileage?
I might trade in my 2018 Camry for this! I have to test drive the is350 first. Is it very fun to drive? I know its rated for 28 mpg highway but are you possibly getting 29-30 mpg if you are light on the gas??
Definitely worth exploring, the IS350 is great to drive! If you are in eco mode you can get around 20mpg combined, I average around 18mpg though. I drive mostly city so if you're doing highway I think 28-30 is attainable. I'm also in the process of developing some course content on how to negotiate car financing and lease deals so let me know if that is something you are interested in.
Millennial Money I ended up getting a 2014 LS 460 F Sport instead. Yeah the IS is faster but the LS is more roomier. I'm getting about 27-29 mpg on the highway which is really good for a V8. But I'm only getting 17 mpg combined. I'm already missing my 2018 Camry i-4 as far as efficiency goes. I was getting 40-43 mpg highway on that.
About the brakes dirt i think its toyota brake pads ,i had a 2008 toyota corolla which had a very same problem ,i ended up using the after market brake pads and the dirt was gone ,nice car by the way
I just bought the same car in black.what percentage is your tint?i hate the crease in the center speaker cover looks like they all have it.does someone know what the crease is in the speaker cover.put sealant or car wax on the rims and it will wash off easy.covers warp your rotors due to increased heat.
Would you mind if I asked you how old you are and what you do for a living? I'm really interested in this car due to recently finding out that you can get one for $400 a month on a lease through Lexus. Do you lease or own?
I just bought one pre owed buy come one who leased it from lexus it is black with red interior, Its approximately 4.5-500 dollars a month depends what warranty them convince you to buy lol
