The soundquality could have been improved for this video. Get closer to the microphone in a room with less echo.

Good video but wish yal had some proper audio equipment. Hard to understand at times.
Also. Did not expect Taran to sound like that LOL.

You guys also keep interrupting each other which makes it harder to listen to also.

It would be very interesting if you did a video more about how you self published or the actual process of sending manuscripts into publishers or things like that.

loved the conversation format of this talk. found it a little awkward how far you guys were from the camera, but the content was interesting. thanks for sharing, looking forward to more talks like this :) Also good luck with Project Red, hope it finds success with the right publisher.

Taran’s talking about his publishing experience was interesting and enjoyable to listen to, Sasha interjecting “yeah” every 15 seconds, not so much.

Okay for starters that was great, I love the casual convo format and would love to see more like it in the future. Second, omg, I was sweating just listening to Taran's description of two sets of edits and copyedits. Just one was overwhelming, that sounds like a legitimate nightmare. 😱

You dont get to choose your own title?? That suprises me, when you explain it makes sense but huh.. Interesting.

I am sure some authors do once they hit a certain level. I don't think Nora Roberts has other people naming her books. She'll get there 1 day.

Actually, it's true. When I went to a writing conference, I had a great title for my book, and it made sense, like my mom thought it was good, my mom's godmother thought it was great (I stayed with her godmother when I went to the conference, in NYC. They might have been biased lol), but the editor that was running it, didn't like the title, he goes "come back, with more options" (it was a four day conference, very pricey, but it was worth it, I got a publisher request, still looking for an agent) so, I'm not all that surprised.

OH NO! The Murder Complex wasn't published in Brazil! It was published in Portugal (we both speak portuguese , not spanish like you said in a past video) , but it's another country and continent and we don't have this contact and exchange that US and England seem to have, so we (from Brazil) don't even have access to their (Portugal) books.

I loved this video, so much! It is so informative! I totally get the whole title change thing, because when I went to a writing conference a few years ago, I went in with an original title for my work, but the editor, didn't like it, and told me to come back with more options (it was a four day conference), I went back to where I was staying, and I told my mom about it, and her godmother (we were staying with her godmother) and they both liked it (I thought they might have been a little biased lol), so I went back to the conference the next day, and told them some other tittles, I didn't get the exact reaction that I wanted, he just nodded. It was worth it, because I got a publisher request (different editor than the one that was running it, they were friends lol), now I'm looking for an agent lol.

I was wondering if you'll be making a video to talk about how the new UA-cam/coppa regulations will affect you and booktube as a whole? I'm a small channel and would love to hear your views on it as "books" are "child attractive" so we'd all be affected by the FTC's new wording (and honestly I have no idea what we're supposed to be doing).

    Hey,
I don’t know if you will see this, but my little sister is the biggest book worm you will ever meet and I really want to get her a different and unique book for Christmas, yet one she will fall in love with. She is 13, but is super smart and has a very grownup view on life. She is quite witty and sarcastic as well. She loved the Cassandra Claire series (mortal instruments??), Lockwood and co, His Dark Materials that kinda thing. She isn’t very girly, and loves some scare and not too far fetched. Any recommendations?
    Thanks!!

Is it true you went hunting for animals in the last few days? Why do you support that kind of cruelty?

    • @baleigh5610
      @baleigh5610 5 років тому +3

IrenaMcG People are saying that because of an instagram story she posted. She never mentioned hunting or anything. I think it might be good to let Sasha defend herself before people start accusing her of hunting. 😁❤️

@@baleigh5610 Well I did ask and not blamed her, and I would like if she addressed the issue and not ignore it. A lot of people are suspicious because the story content she filmed is totaly in line when you go hunting.
