It's sad seeing how so many Asashio players don't know that their torpedoes don't work against destroyers and cruisers. In the video, it might have been aimed at the QE in the vid, but point still stands
I thought he was 100% negligent and selfish for leaving his team in the east with Zero DD cover, no torp spotting, nothing - just to reposition to where his team already HAD two DDs. He left those ships to get nailed by Asashio torps. Poor strategic choice, which he was able to overcome through the luck of the match. Also, use AP when Dallas shows its side.
Hello there TopTier, i want to know if german BBs need IFHE for their secondaries, i feel like they dont do much dmg so im wondering if i should put it on my GK captain Great video as always
I know I am not the one being asked here, but here are some of my opinion. Read it, ignore it is entirely up to you. Firstly, Kurfurst does not need IFHE as all of its secondaries are already capable of penetrating 32mm. For Bismarck and FDG (T9), you might need it as half of their secondaries cannot penetrate 32mm. In World of warships, 32mm is the standard armor threshold for BBs and being able to penetrate this (especially with German BBs using secondaries) is very important in my opinion. The downside ofcorse, is the fact that you will be trading this with important skills such as fire prevention, concealmet expert, and other essential commander skills (manual secondaries is also a must in my opinion). In other words, you will lose survivability for secondaries damage. However, every nation and ship type has its gimmick in World of Warships, and for German BB's are hard armor and secondaries. If I were to use skill points for fire prevention and others and ignore the secondaries for German BB's. I would just straight up use a different BB. Therefor, I would recommend taking IFHE, Advanced firing training, and manual secondaries for Bismarck and FDG. (No IFHE for Kurfurst) I know it makes you so vulnerable against HE's and fires especially without concealmet expert, thus decreasing your survivability, but the damage difference in these secondaries was huge when I tried it, and it makes pushing with these ships a lot more fun. You can also score pretty good hits against cruisers and DDs too. Afterall, it is you and your play-style that makes the final decision. If you have enough time and doubloons, you could give it a try and see if it suites you and if you enjoy it. Have a great day!
i'm regrinding akizuki and it seems awful, carriers and radars are your nemesis, other dds outspot you, you're too slow to run and bad maneuverability, good aa doesn't help, determined cv player will kill you, fire chance is crap, she's eating massive pens
Instead of spotting for the team, a DD asking a BB to spot for him =/..... His first attack to fire his guns instead of letting off a salvo of torps on a stationary target undetected was telling what sort of player he was. He smoked up right next to a DD that laid smoke for him...WTF? This player should be a submarine captain! The way he maneuvered the ship into the map edge during the last engagement because he froze up and probably shat AND wet his pants at the same time.....
I was like, no he won't kill both battleships, and yet, here we are lol
amazing gameplay
5:52 WTH happened there ?
Deep water torpedoes perhaps?
deepwater torps
He knew that both enemy dds have deep water torp so he didn't even bother

Normal torps and deepwater torps look different. Look for the "bar" above deep torps.
double cv match and a fail division ended up with t5 ships in t8 match thats a rare match
I was wondering why there was a bretagne in a t8 game
how do i set rhe health of ships at the side of the screen???
its a mod in modstation, its pretty easy to find
Hi, TopTier! Want to share a replay, but cant find, how to log in on replayswows with CIS account. Should I use other way or I am a bit blind?
A dd that knows what it’s doing in a cv match can still do,innate. Who would’ve thought 🤔
@@drakeconsumerofsoulsandche4303 its not toptier playing lmao

I'm not using IF HE with German BBs

DD like Akizuki is not meant to silent torp or solo. This DD is most effective when working in a team.
@@KC_88631 i relearned that soon after and got some nice stats continually afterwards
Captain skills are wrong I guess. He doesn't have "priority target"
Priority target is almost useless in a DD since you don't want to be spotted in the first place
@@terenwrathkaiser22 well that's a choice, but the list was showing he has "pt" at the beginning where he doesn't
