It wouldn't be a bad idea to not put the greenhouse up until early March Emma. We probably have a few more storms on the way and you won't really need it till the start of spring anyhow. I'd just hate to see it get battered by another Darragh. Thanks for the upload as always! :)
I have a version of the little plastic hoop tent that you put together in your video. It works well where I have it, but you may find that when it rains, the rain tends to settle and puddle in the center. I often have to go shake off the water where it's weighing down the plastic. But it works really well for those plants that are starting to have some height and still need protection.
Happy Christmas to you Emma and your family, have a lovely time together. Thank you for entertaining me all year with all your delightful videos , look forward to another year.thanks.🎄
Great video as always Emma. Don't forget to check out a Trencher spade from Screwfix - so much easier to remove brambles than with a conventional spade. Looking forward to your Christmas video 😊
Emma I stick my broad beans individually because they grow at different rates. Well done for planting broad beans now you will have a great spring crop. You can also plant more in the spring to keep harvesting in summer. Well done I love your video progress. Happy Christmas from Worcestershire ❤️
Hi Emma. I enjoyed your video as usual. Have you thought of adding a layer of horse manure and/or wood chippings to your compost bin ? Sometimes i also add a small shovel of soil sprinkled over the compost. Also you can add any worms that you find . Dont turn the compost too much also. Have a Merry Christmas !
101 ways to use sticks by Emma,,, Love this ,I'd buy it , Yuletide blessingZ to you and yours, I watch you on all platforms, So hope to see you soon xX
You need a piece of iron bar to hammer in to the ground pull it out and put your stick in I found this 1. Lawnmowers (6,500 accidents per annum) 2. Flower pots (5,300) 3. Secateurs and pruners (4,400) 4. Spades(3,600) 5. Electric hedge trimmers (3,100) 6. Planttubsand troughs (2,800) 7. Shears(2,100) 8. Garden forks (2,000) 9. Hoses and sprinklers (1,900) 10. Garden canes and sticks (1,800)😮
Merry Christmas Emma and all your family. Thanks for all the laughter and fun throughout the year. A special word of thanks to Einstein although I'm still not certain it's really him .

Hello Emma, have you thought about maybe installing a beeswax window opener for your green house? Bayliss XL Autovent - Automatic Greenhouse Window Opener - Temperature Sensitive Solar Vent Opener
I truly have to say I love you and the friendship you have with the birds and wildlife even the annoying slug and snail problem you just go along with it good on you
You should know that those arches need at least three canes or sticks tying them together across each side and even some supports going in to the ground .Theyre so flimsy .
You can never have too many sticks Emma,we are having a horrible summer here in New Zealand so far.Lots of wind and rain where I am so that I've got sticks everywhere trying to support all my vege from being blown away😊
Hi Emma I’ve had to do the same thing with my old Wilco arch it’s full of jasmine, but in the recent storms in Kent , mine where blown down but still hanging on due to the jasmine intertwine , hopefully it will grow in the spring time.
you need to buy proper stakes - they look like giant pencils! bash them in either side of the arch and then fasten to the arch. you'll need a hammer. and cable ties. happy Christmas xx
The best tool for clearing rough ground, removing brambles, etc., is a Chillington Hoe. It’s much easier and quicker than using a spade, and they are fairly inexpensive.
Merry Christmas to all of you out there, snowy greetings from sweden
Keep warm...and happy Christmas to you and yours x

Merry Christmas to you Emma and your family
I saw that someone had a bench on their plot. A bench would be nice outside of your shed, somewhere to sit with a cuppa and enjoy your plot.

Those rhubarb shoots, de-leaf, fine chop, microwave to a puree, add a little honey or sugar and cinnamon. A tasty treat for Boxing day.
