I got a unibody as well but is very rusted. Okay I’ll fix it the best I can with sheet metal. But the way it looks is freaking sweet straight rat truck looking. It was sitting in a field for 20 years and animals took it over packed everything including the cab with sticks and mouse turds. I got it all cleaned out it was engine swapped with a four speed 390 from a 223 straight six. I have a 90s model 300 ford straight 6 efi and going to start swapping it in this weekend!
My Dad had a 1962 Ford unibody, 6 cyl 4 speed. That was the first vehicle I ever road in as my Dad brought my Mom and I home from the hospital in it. Unfortunately, in 1980, a drunk driver hit the truck from the rear with my whole family inside. The drivers side door would not close as the gas fill was pushed forward into the door jamb. If I was closer I would definately be interested in the other truck.
Those are great trucks. My dad had a white 1965 F100 Custom Cab with a 352 and a 3 on the tree. I learned how to drive in that truck, so I am real fond of the 60-66 Ford trucks.
R.K. McLeod they are great trucks. My grandpa had a 64, straight 6 with a 4 on the floor. I love the unibody but ended up getting rid of both. May have another one day
You must have a good woman hearing you say she told you to go ask him if it was for sale Lol most stories i hear are of the wife/fiance trying to keep men from buyinv projects 😂 but i have a non unibody 65 that needs alot of work esspecially for what i paid. I spent more than I'd liked but all in all its a cool old ford truck. I want to test my body work skills and make a unibody look with full cage on crown vic frame with tubular frame through out the body for strength and stability.
Do you happen to know what that bench seat is out of? and how tall are you and are you comfortable? I'm 6'2" and trying to find a seat that'll be half decently comfortable. Thanks
Hey guy you shouldn't sell either one of those 60 unibody you should make one of his and one of hers you said you had a fiance you can't be too no forward when it comes to a truck although I like all the big three
Kenneth Mason thanks!! I a really ended up getting rid of the blue one several months ago. Still have the primer one though with no immediate plans for it to go any where

That's a bummer about your dad's truck. Yes I do love the unibody style for sure

Sounds like you have a great plan for your 65 and yes I have an amazing wife, she is awesome!!
we got ours for $800 with an awesome patina
I learned my lesson last month, never buy a vehicle from someone if it's not THEIR name on the title.
Hey I have that same custom vice grip door handle too! Lol universal classic door opener
LOL...and here I thought it was an original 🤪
@@ExtremeAutomotiveAddiction 😂

Riley Dalzell I assume they are both the stock seats. I'm 5'11" and pretty comfy in both seats
