You’re in the good books now mate😉 hard part is staying in there, I can’t give any advice on how to do that either, top job
Yea, I think you nailed the situation. I should enjoy it while I can.
Dudley a hint to help you on TIG welding heavy sections of alum. like that...pre-heat the weld joint to 250-350 deg F with a propane torch...your welds will just wet in nicely with way less amps to get a weld puddle. You did a great job for limited TIG exp.!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the tip/ Nothing beats experience. I really appreciate you sharing yours.
@@DudleyToolwright The only thing that beats experience is MORE experience lol!😏
Lol , For Whom The Bell Tolls ! Great result . The " Boss " will be happy . Cheers 👍 Hey , that Starrett indicator is way smoother than my newer that i think is a knockoff Mitutoyo . 👍👍👍
She is and the design was driven by her choices. I'm glad the gear is working out for you. I and the other viewers of your channels are the big winners here.
👍🎉👍🎉👍🎉👍🎉👍🎉👍🎉👍. Looks and sounds fantastic
Very kind, thanks.
Instead of lising the tram on the mill, you could use a sine plate or angle blocks on the vise.....
Thanks for sharing a different approach. I really appreciate it.
Channeling your wife, "About time, how about the rest of the list."
Take care, Cary on.
Spot on.
Can't believe now much space you have out back for work shop expansion !
Kit from down under
I hope you are being sarcastic. My entire lot is 5500 sq ft (~511 square meters)
Pretty cool. Sounds good too. I wonder if replacing the aluminum triangle with say a piece of Delrin or something light would enable the wind to move it more easily and it would chime in a very light breeze?
Thanks, Tom. We really don't want it to ring too often, so that we don't irritate our neighbors whose homes are only a few 10s of feet away.
@@DudleyToolwright Gotcha.
Always good to finally knock out a belated Honey-Do project, harmony and happiness hopefully happen hereafter.
Yea, indeed it is. She has already cued up a bunch more items.
@@DudleyToolwright Classic..there is always a list...
