    Cute diy. You can also add wooden cardstock or wood contact paper inside the frame for more of a farmhouse look.

    Hi Amber,
    I love this idea. I had a similar idea that I saw in a craft magazine 2 summers ago but you take the glass out and tie bottles with jute string to hang down from the top middle of frame. I bought the frames and had the bottles on hand and bought the flowers from the Dollar Tree. In t hff e bottom craft drawer sits the frames and the mirrors and the flowers have been used for various projects. I love mason/ball jars and your idea is cooler. I had another idea too. If you bought mirror glass to fit into your frame I think that would be cool with the reflection.
    My mom and my favorite flowers are hydrangeas and this year all mine in the front yard flourished more then ever before and I think it is because I trimmed them all fall 2019 the Martha Stewart way.

    Cute for a temporary craft. The hot glue dries quickly and e6000 sets up in 12 hours. Thus, the hot glue drops create a bubble during bonding. The jar will fall off, eventually. Keep up the talent! Miss Jonesy

      Thank you Katrina! ☺️ I actually used some long neck thumbtacks but has since attached jute rope to the back on the frame towards the middle. I haven’t had a problem with them hanging at all but decided I should have a better back just in case 😁 I’m happy you enjoyed them!

    These are gorgeous! I dont know if any one else have asked but how were you able to hang the frame? Did you add a hook or something on the back? Thank you so much in advance! I'm going to make these but I didn't see where you showed what you put on the back to make it hang-able.

    • @DIYwithAmber
      @DIYwithAmber  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much Doll! I actually hung it with thumb tacks temporarily. So I just go the thick colored ones and hung the frame on that. It stayed on there for a good 6 months lol. The entire craft is still one piece and never fell. You could also get the picture hanging set and attach it that way.

    Did you have any issues with the jar coming off the picture frame?.

    • @DIYwithAmber
      @DIYwithAmber  5 років тому

      Chrissy Blackstone I didn’t have any issues. It’s still together and hanging on the wall. 😁 Just need to make sure you have the frame hanging securely. I recommend adhesive strips and hooks or just thick thumbtacks-the ones that are colorful. That’s what I used. You can also hang it like a picture by attaching the hooks to the back of the frame at the top.
