- City staged another incredible final day fightback, scoring three goals in five second half minutes to dramatically beat Aston Villa 3-2 and so retain the Premier League title at a spellbound Etihad.
Having gone 2-0 down midway through the second half Pep Guardiola’s side looked to be in danger of losing the crown to Liverpool, who beat Wolves 3-1
However, in amazing scenes reminiscent of our first Premier League triumph 10 years ago, with the same uncanny scoreline, we staged the most unbelievable of comebacks to seize the crown, as a brace from substitute Ilkay Gundogan and a Rodrigo strike lifted the lid off the Etihad.
It was a fightback full of grit and character and one worthy of any title-winning side.

What a season that was. As a Liverpool fan, nothing but respect. I can't even be mad that we didn't win the title, because the race for it was just incredible to watch. More so, as a football fan, it's amazing to watch when it's so close, as otherwise it's not fun when one team completely dominates. Hopefully next season we will see the same great race for the title. Congratz.

But in my 32 years of watching city this is the best game I’ve been too , this game has the edge over 2012 for me personally cause I was at this 1. Something I really like was that it all began when Raheem stood up his defender, took the ball to the byline, and delivered up the perfect cross for someone on the far post. He's had an inconsistent season and gets so much stick but when we needed something he delivered.

Thankful somebody has taken note of this! Sterling is City's go to man when they want to create space and scoring opportunities. He is City's best off the ball runner; he knows the game! In fact, his best asset highlights is greatest liability: scoring goals! He is always in the spotlight, because he is always in a position to score! Foden, Mahrez, and Grealish may possess better technical abilities, but Sterling knows how to play the position better than all the above!

@@fabiotee1037 Agree! Moreover, Mahrez keeps the ball a lil too long at times. He is way more skillful than Sterling, but his skills have a higher percentage of success within the box than outside: this explains why he is always so clos to the box! Sterling, on the other hand, is tailor-made for both areas (if only he wasn't afraid of missing). The latter clause explain why Man City players miss so many chances: they r afraid to miss because of Pep! Mahrez doesn't care and I like him for that! As good as foden is, he is yet to grasp the position to date. He is surviving because of his sublime touch, not his spacial awareness!
